  • Have you ever tried salt and white vinegar? It does a pretty good job but if you leave the coin in there too long it will leave an off grey color on it.

  • Bank coin counters will kick out dirty corroded coins also. Some banks even will get your name and charge back the coins that get spit back out of the coin counters to your account.

    That is why you should always clean your dirty corroded clad coins.

  • A lot of mechanic coin counters will throw out coins that are dirty or corroded. That is why we clean our clad coins.

  • DO NOT AND I SAY DO NOT CLEAN COINS

  • Careful with CLR I messed up an Indian Head Penny with it. I use a rock tumbler for my clad.
