@TheTetza01 not really. they might look the same but the engines, and the design like the interior and exterior are different. The GT-S doesnt use 4A-GEUs while the trueno does. the GT-S uses a 4A-GEC, tht has lower power then the 4A-GEU.

A lot of AE86 enthusiast really are prejudice against it because you don't ever fuck with perfection. AE86 its the most perfect drift car ever.

The BLACK LIMITED AE86 are rare and the BLACK LIMITED AE86 has been manufactured to commemorate the last RWD Corolla sport before Toyota start producing all of its Corolla,Levin,Trueno to FWD (execpt for the AE82 EE82 which has been the FWD flagship of Toyota to see if FWD will boost their sales) which is the AE92,EE92 (Corolla) and by the way the Black Limited AE86 has been manufactured by January 1987.

They're heavily underpowered, even mine with a racing engine it feels gutless on the up hill. They're cheaper then even the cheapest Skylines, and more abundant. As much as I love them, you're still more likely to find a R34 VSpec II Nur for a better price then one of these. Plus there are many better cars.

well, since they were never so pupular in he US it might be hard to find USDM upgrades for them, they are heavily underpowered likethe other guy said (even the g apex),and the 20v is pretty hard to work on, i recomend you go with the 16v if you dont know much about engines.

basically, this car is light weight, great power, superb handling and CHEAP and RARe(now-a-days). This car has the ability to teach the driver... to drift... since it is light, tires could last long, and fits to the narrow roads of japan. this car can be customized my the driver in terms of suspension set-up & engine set-up depending on the preference of the driver.. Can you buy 70grand NISSAN SKYLINE GTR, use it for drifting and bump it on the guard rails? I don't think so...LOL

I drive a 1986 Corolla Sedan so I am familiar with drving Toyota cars. The Trueno is like Corolla sedan except this car has an MR2 engine in the back and with rear wheel drive as opposed front wheel drive in the sedan. Put some magna-shox on this car and you might have a drift king. SICK CARS THOUGH!!

Beyondthegrave2005, The engine in the Trueno are a 1.6L I4. 4AGE.

As for ANIDS comment, A head of it time. The FJ20ET make the 4AGE look like a lawnmower engine.

I am a Nissan man but I will say that Toyota's 3SGTE is 10 times better then SR20DET. The 3SGTE valvetrain is 10 times better design then the SR20DE/T.
