  • rod taylor is one of my all time favorite action star..hope, someone can share clips from any of his flicks like dark of the sun(the mercenaries), hell with heroes, darker than amber(more clips please)and his last action flick (i think)with the tiltle junction or something..he should be honored by his peers while he is still around..he deserves it.

  • I recognize two of my favorite actors, Rod Taylor and Hugh Marlowe. The old guy and the smaller guy are character actors that always seemed to show up in low budget films. By the way if you want to see a great performance by Hugh Marlowe check out 12 O'Clock High with Gregory Peck. Hugh Marlowe should have won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

  • I love the old SYFY Movies. Thank-You for uploading.

  • rare for the time ,this super wide angle on my giant lcd tv.The film stock too is exceptional.

  • Even if we're not supposed to take the film seriously, the crew's testing of the alien atmosphere by the scientific method of "opening the spacecraft door" is totally unforgivable...

  • Rod Taylor's "plummy" brit accent is terrible!! In this film. I'm Australian and the only other Australian's who speak with this accent were actor's and radio announcers on the ABC public broadcasting service in the 1950's!.

  • Rodney Taylor's first American film!

    He's Australian.

One I remember well from my youth - fondly!

  • One of my favorite 50's sci-fi movies of all time and Hugh Marlowe and Rod Taylor are pretty big names

  • This certainly isn't the first space adventure movie where the crew-MEN land on a planet only to find that all the women are beautiful and wear mini-skirts, but it's the only one I've seen that had a budget big enough to afford a working bazooka, obviously a necessary weapon for fighting off cavemen throwing spears. I was glad to see that after the battle they immediately set up a rudimentary school in order to teach the human children the ways of the 1950s. Tough luck for the mutant idiots.

  • Great little time-travel flick. I saw it when I was a kid. Thank you, for submitting this.
