Yeah Terry Thomas dies in last film how the hell can he be here now ??? This is only part that ruins this film. I like Terry but come on he did die last film
This is the kind of movie where you aren't even supposed to take it seriously. Its.. an art piece. Just take what it gives you, and let it flow like a surrealistic murder masterpiece.
You people make me laugh, all you do is complain about every little detail in movies. do yourself a favor by stop being so picky, Movies are made for our enjoying entertainment :)
Vincent Price is one of the greatest actors of his time, rest in peace Mr. Price
@TheAprilMuffin Your NOT?... well that's awesome. I hope your own daughter gets a job that allows her to be independent in her own right and on her own terms. Not in my lifetime.
What I don't understand about Phibes is where does he get the female lackeys to do his bidding so quickly? He's able to rise from the grave and after that a woman appears. It couldn't be the same woman because the other one was burned to death in the first one. Or was she?
The dear doctor must have been dead from the waist down. His wife has been comatose for who knows how long, but he hasn't noticed the devoted Nulvania's lithe form gracing his world.
@ThatsMrMoronToYou Not quite. According to certain production notes from the first movie, Vulvania is not actually a human being. She is, in fact, an android, just like his mechanical orchestra. Or so those notes said.
@Wykletypl Thanks for clearing that up for me. I was wondering what their relationship was. I was also wondering about how she was reanimated for the second movie, having gotten a faceful of acid.
@starquant Vulnavia's a female and she's one of the best characters. Besides, you shouldn't get bored just because of a lack of female characters. I'm a girl and I'm telling you this.
@sweetsandbloodlust2 can you direct me to a horror where the female is the "Main" character plz. ( I mean 60's horrors). I read somewhere recently, where women are no longer being sought for "lead" roles because they don't attract BIG box office bucks. I can't help felling that man are going to a lot of "trouble" to keep females in their place. Everything I read or hear these days seems to direct me to believe this.
@starquant Um...,sorry, I don't think I can. I prefer watching movies where men are the main characters. I do know a horror from 1971, though. Lady Frankenstein, It's Italian, btw.
@sweetsandbloodlust2 I don't mind watching them either, so long as they don't require the use of a woman as the obligatory victim or semi naked village idiot.

wait a minute...I think this is like Blade Runner.
I think ol' Vulvodynia is an automaton!
That's why she's always smiling, even after having her face erased by acid in the first film.
