Very helpful, but wouldn't it be easier (and more symmetrical) to use the front part cut out of the fabric as the pattern for the back (flipping it over) rather than re-tracing all around your pants again? In your method, you have a greater margin for error by retracing the pants instead of just tracing exactly around the front cutout.
