1. It's called "pushing through" the guy on the end is SUPPOSED to be difficult to maintain, that adds a "difficult" element. Go down the row, count the number needed to make it to the end and make em, more show up? Tough, make more...
2. If you screw up the ingredients, then you arn't concentrating, thus you get punished, so do it right next time...
3. The ordering IS all about time management, order the stuff, rush it if you need it rushed...
@RabidTechnical I play both hardcore and casual games. I'm not nitpicking this game because it's hard. My problem is with the unbalanced levels. The only thing that gets hard is making the more complicated sushi. In case you missed it, I mentioned that people get angry way too fast and leave. I don't have a problem with the ingredients, it's how easy it is to screw up because of the shotty controls. I don't want an easy game, I want a functional one.
@prot8to Thanks for the reply, it just seems to me that the shotty control you use on the wii is directly related to the wii CONSOLE. You don't play one game with the wii controller and everything is fine and then it becomes possessed with another game. I would call (crap) on the wii itself in that case because the game is just utilizing the same motion detection software for every game. Really what your looking at is a screen of interactive buttons like a web site.
@RabidTechnical I did comment that the Internet flash version of this is really good. I imagine the DS version is probably a lot better. This game seems developed for a mouse and just doesn't match well with the Wii controls. I know it seems like the controls should be inherent but they all need to be established and programmed to function in each game so one game can have worse control than another. I have had issues with one game not aiming as well as another.
I didn't like this review. It complains about concepts that are there purposefully to make a game challenging and not hand the game to you on a silver sushi platter.
The sushi that you make would look exactly like it's supposed to if you dont mind actually dealing with about 25 different ingredients on your play board...for example, they simplified a california roll since it is seaweed, rice, avacado, crab, and eggs. How about making all that for one serving?
@RabidTechnical My complaints were mainly about the technical aspects of the game. It's very badly made and the controls are awful which contribute to the difficulty of the game. I didn't complain that a "california roll" doesn't look exactly like the real thing. I had a problem with the finished product not resembling the items that went into it.
@PeteDorr Yep, that's why I only played it for an hour... long enough to get footage and a decent opinion. I wasn't happy that this game turned out to be so bad.
