Just bought an '03 Evo, installing Megan coilovers...do you have any setup tips, recommended height adjustments, or damper settings that you would recommend? I have the fronts in, rears going in this week. I setup the fronts about 1.5" lower than stock to start. Thanks for any advise!
Also man, for changing your oil, just put two wooden boards maybe an inch thick infront of the tires and drive up on them then youll be able to fit a jack underneath it just find, ive been driving cars that lay frame haha
id love to see the video on how to do an allignment. I just bought tein adj coilovers with adj camber for my impreza, and i wanna install it myself. Please no suby hating comments this seems like a group of mature audiences with people who actually own cars...thank you.
Thanks for this video! I hope you post again about how you like these! I was planning on putting these on my evo in the near future. Glad I found this video. Thanks again.
Cool videos Robby! Cool idea on the alignment video for figuring the level of the garage.
You can remove the plastics rivets very easily by using a pen to push in the middles and the rivet is then released. After removing it, you just reset the rivet like you showed in your video. Give it a try!
Great video dude...i just have a question...have you ever had a problem with the megan coilovers since the install? I was going to consider them for my Eclipse because of how much more adjustable they are. I heard they were rubbish...thats why i am asking if you had any problems.
I've had no problems out of them. I'm sure if you are racing in a national series, these would not be the best choice. However, for track days and autocross duty, I think they are great. I think those saying they are rubbish just feel that they need to pay more.
that makes sense. I am in the process of making my car a road race car for auto cross and maybe time attack but i will also drive it on city streets. so would the megan coilovers be good for that?
do you think geting tenzo 2.0 springs over stock struts would be okay and a nice drop bcuz i dnt wanna spend alot of money buying new struts my car has 68k miles. appreciate your help

"Real nice color, custom?"
The color is stock "Blue By You". It's probably a less common color. I like it!
AutoXer 4 years ago
Oh I see, the EVO VIII colors are a LOT nicer than the IX colors, wicked white was 100X better than the newer weightless white. IMO.
