Lucifer doesnt have a body, that means he needs to posess like all the others have. Cas said angels can't take anybody, it has to be someone special someone, it has to be in genes, and Lucifer is a former angel after all I'm sure he can't change that rule.
That leaves us with dean having to figure out a way to take out lucifer without killing his brother

Can't wait for the finale! Having read some of the comments on here I have my own theory of whats going to happen. Lilith has already said that she won't be alive for Lucifer's rising, so Sam has to kill her to break the last seal, he doesn't know it, but I think Ruby does. Dean realises this and eventually stops Sam bringing on the apocalypse, which is what he is destined to do.
the problem with me is that I can see both sides of Sam and Dean so I know why they think what Sam is doing is bad or good. I just...don't know who to choose. I would choose God in the end I just don't know if I like it that Sam's using his power and might become a monster or if I think its ok as long as he kills Lilith.

I's been my guess since the beginning of season 4, but now I am 99% sure: ruby is somehow related to luycifer, whom she's actually helping rise (I suppose in Sam's body) so I'm assuming that season 5 (the las from what I've heard) is going to be about Dean (and the Angels) vs Sam (Lucifer), Ruby and the other Angels. Oh, and btw, my hunch is that blondy (Lilith) is in fact trying to stop the breaking of the seals.
Lilith clearly isnt trying to stop the Seals. She has been to see Sam and confirmed it all really. She stood in front of Dean and called forth Hell Hounds ... she definitely is a part of it but just another Demon Toy in the long run., Ruby is most likely to be Lucifers first. i read in supernatural maazine that kripke doesnt want the show to go on and get pointless.he wants to end it with a bang and keep the fans in it and like they have been for so long.kripke said "what am i gonna show dean and sam getting married...no i wanna stay the way it is till theres nothing more i can give"

What if sam is to be posessed by Lucifer!
Lucifer doesnt have a body, that means he needs to posess like all the others have. Cas said angels can't take anybody, it has to be someone special someone, it has to be in genes, and Lucifer is a former angel after all I'm sure he can't change that rule.
That leaves us with dean having to figure out a way to take out lucifer without killing his brother

So. I am sure Lucifer was an Archangel, and he was banned from Heaven by God, and Michael could defeat him, because he still served God.
In biblical mythologie Lucifer was sent to Earth first, and he only got sealed in Hell when Jesus was crucified.
But of course the SPN staff don't always follow the most known version of a myth, so we can't know what will happen.
I's sure non of the boys will die this season, but Dean has to do something about Sam if they want to hit the road again together.

I don't think Dean has to kill Sam to stop the apocalypse because Lilith is the only one who can start it and not Sam (anyway he wants to kill Lilith too).

I forgot that Cas said that, so if the last seal involves killing Lilith, Sam could stop the apocalypse if he kills her, and then turns monster enough to destroy Lucifer, or Dean can stop it by somehow deterring Sam from killing her. I still don't trust Ruby, she's too enthusiastic about Sam killing Lilith that she's on Lucifer's side.

Ruby cant be the 1st demon because in S3E9 sam dean and ruby fight a demon that says that ruby sold her soul to her! I think that dean will kill lucifer with the Colt that is probably with the angels. just a guess though

I dont know about that but I do know that in history he is recognized like Uriel said but there is one Archangel that DID defeat him and sent him downstairs. Saint Michael the Archangel was the one who defeated Lucifer. I wonder if the writers will include him in the finale since he is a very important charecter the leader of the armies of Heaven.

i don't think lilith was lucifer's first, its prob ruby. thats y she has so many human memories. its prob the demon's diabolical plan from the start. azazel and mary winchester, so sam could be the human vassal 4 lucifer. hopefully the angels will c the truth soon enough so dean will hav 2 kill sam :(

Can't wait for the finale! Having read some of the comments on here I have my own theory of whats going to happen. Lilith has already said that she won't be alive for Lucifer's rising, so Sam has to kill her to break the last seal, he doesn't know it, but I think Ruby does. Dean realises this and eventually stops Sam bringing on the apocalypse, which is what he is destined to do.

the problem with me is that I can see both sides of Sam and Dean so I know why they think what Sam is doing is bad or good. I just...don't know who to choose. I would choose God in the end I just don't know if I like it that Sam's using his power and might become a monster or if I think its ok as long as he kills Lilith.

OMG! just watched episode 21- it was amazing even though it was heartbreaking. god i wanted to punch sam to bring sum sense back into him.i always knew it was going to be dean vs sam. i also think sam is gonna be lucifer's vessel. dean workinf 4 angels and sam working 4 demons- ironic but great storyline just like every single episode of SPN starting from season 1. btw there is gonna be a season 5 but not sure bout season 6

I's been my guess since the beginning of season 4, but now I am 99% sure: ruby is somehow related to luycifer, whom she's actually helping rise (I suppose in Sam's body) so I'm assuming that season 5 (the las from what I've heard) is going to be about Dean (and the Angels) vs Sam (Lucifer), Ruby and the other Angels. Oh, and btw, my hunch is that blondy (Lilith) is in fact trying to stop the breaking of the seals.

Lilith clearly isnt trying to stop the Seals. She has been to see Sam and confirmed it all really. She stood in front of Dean and called forth Hell Hounds ... she definitely is a part of it but just another Demon Toy in the long run., Ruby is most likely to be Lucifers first. Hence her having more Human memories than before. Hence her always knowing Liliths moves ... all just a game to get Sam, the last blood baby lol

But all I can say is I really hope there is a happy ending, with both brothers alive, well, and together! I don't want them to be fighting against each other!

sam will proberley transform into a monster or sum shit and the 2 bros will remain separate untill season6. sam will weaken lilth & dean will kill her, it will take the both of them workin together even tho sam's a demon/monster. ofcourse somebody must die, so guessin, ruby, bobby, cas etc. proberley dean & sam will fight against one another in season 5.....cant wait till thursdayyyyyyyyyyyy and season 5
