  • Thanks for the video, this is the best demo for these two machines I have seen yet. Also, your shit's real groovy man

  • Which one should i get the Kaossilator or the kaoss pad?

  • @DeejayErez well it depends. The Kaossilator MAKES sounds. Its like a mini synthesizer. But the Kaoss Pad makes NO sounds. It is an effects processor so you run something through it and it alters the sound. Both are great, but it really depends on what you are hoping to do.

  • I tell people:

    kaossilator "makes weird sounds"

    Kaoss pad "makes sounds weird"

  • que tema del orto

  • I'm getting these and taking them to the senior citizen homes.

  • I love this one is mos def my style; you kicked it kind of lounge music!!....

  • this is good :)

  • thumbs up man, great use of both kaoss

  • yup that flute is sick...nice

  • Totally entertaining music, my friend. Thank you for posting.

  • excellent tune!!

  • H @popshopmusik , could anyone please tell me the difference between the kaoss pad and the kaossilator?

    Thanks!!

  • @CancerBatsFan101 the kaossilator is essentially a mini-synthesizer which uses an x-y axis touch pad instead of a physical keyboard. the kaoss pad is a sound/effects processor, meaning it takes in sound through the input, morphs it, and spits it back out through the output processed/with added effects.

  • @CancerBatsFan101 The kaossilator is a synthesizer which makes its own sounds and has no input for sounds except a microphone or instrument with which you can only make loops with. You use it as an instrument to make loops.

The kaoss pad is an effects processor meaning you can alter/play with the music that is already coming in but it does very little as far as making its own sound. He's basically having a jam session on the kaossilator and making it glitchy and trippy with the kaoss pad.

  • dammit i lost the wheel on my kaossilator

  • nice but layer more rythmn to make it complex

  • can you please explain how you connect them all? Do you connect the kaosillator to the mini-kp which is connected to your computer? How so? please help, im interested in buying these for recording electronic music onto my computer, but im not sure how they all connect haha, thank you

  • @mattcav221 Connect Kaossilator output to mini Kp input. Connect mini Kp output to computer (or anything else with an audio input for that matter) input. Done.

  • hands down, best video using both the Mini KP and Kaossilator

the other ones have REALLY crappy audio, either the bass is too much or they're opening their yap and not letting the music do the talking

    great job dude : )

  • @djmj811 looks like RCA Audio Cables to me, and then he used the headphones outlet on the Mini KP and from there, i have NO idea haha, am i right?

  • how did you make the efects at the end??

  • Nice! I'm getting the yellow one to go with my mixer and 2 turntables, this way I can make beats with samples and scratch's

  • Awesome!!

  • Strait up house right there!!! amazing man that s great. holy crap man more i listen the better this gets lol

  • Great !!

  • Bravo.....top job.

  • how would I use the minikp with a microkorg?

  • well i would suggest getting a KP3 they are easier and way better to use

  • Wish I could get my hands on these '''D:

  • how long can recorded patterns be on the kaossilator

  • you can record infinate layers on one loop and you can get anywhere from like 2 to 16 bars I think.

  • do you know if you can hook these up together, along with with an ipod?

  • You only have one input to the KP mini so you can hook up the kaossilator or the ipod. Unless you run the kaossilator into your computer and run your computers output through the KP mini, then you can use software to do even more crazy stuff.

  • Koooool!

  • Hey just wondering.

How do you link the two together?

    Cheers

  • He connected Kaossilator's output RCA's with miniKP's input RCA's. That's all. MiniKP allows you to connect any source you want.

  • great performance!

    DAMN! 2:06!!!

    Damn nice loop!

  • um..

  • How cool is that!

I just bought a Kaossilator online and I can't wait it to arrive! Next I'll get a mini kp when I have the money. Unless you give me yours, of course. ; )

  • im getting MKP first :) then Kasossilator :D

  • The looping is done on the kaossilator.

  • Great, I really like it!!!!

  • im new to this stuff, and plan to get a kaossolater, but, what is the difference between the mini kp, and the kaossolater.

they look the same, but what is the difference

  • Mini KP = Effects Kaossilator = Synth

  • 2:07-2:11 I love the flute riff! :) nice work

  • i was just about the post that same thing haha i love that

  • are you looping through the kaossilator or the Mini KP?

  • I think it's external looper, I can only see the outputs wired there...

  • unless i am mistaken, the looper is in the kaossilator...?

  • yeah your right, my fault...

  • That is so sick i threw up, but seriously i have a question, im getting the kaossilator but should i also get the mini-KP? is it worth the money?

  • @TimN71: no. its a minikaosspad and a kaossilator, the kaossilator produces sounds and the pad manipulates them... :)

  • this is amazing - are all those sounds generated by the two Kaoss Pads?

  • this is so good xx

  • I love that you took sort of an acid jazz approach to the Kaossilator here! Very different... it just goes to show you what a versatile little thing it really is.

  • Do you own only the Kaoss mini or by any chance you have a Korg Kaoss Pad 2 or worked with one with the Kaossliator? I wanted to know what has more options the mini or Pad 2?

  • Brilliant.

  • that ruled.

  • this is sick !

  • So sick, best video of the two pads. This has solidified the necessity of owning them, in my mind.

  • wow! subsribed!

  • I recently picked up a DS game which simulated a korg pad. I think its great but the ds version can only do so much. I was just wondering if getting one of these pads would be worth my money.

  • love the sounds, keep posting

  • Thank you very much!!
