For more than tousand of years christianity wasn't any better than islam. Many evil things were done in the name of jesus, the same way they are done in the name of allah or mohammed today. Modern christianity is an evolved version of once barbaric religion, islam just didnt catch up yet.

That is your point of view. But the difference is that those evildoers in the name Jesus have no backup in the bible. This is the difference with Mohammed and the Quran. All those terrorists and crazy man from the Muslim side have backup from the Quran.

Have you read the Bible? It condones slavery, genocide, punishment for thought crimes, and virtually any other bit of violence you can find committed by any other group.

If you examined your own holy book with the same type of bias which you judge (it seems unlikely that you have actually read) the Qur'an you would find it equally horrifying.

You're right about that. It's almost as if the God which Jesus describes is a completely different God than that of the Jews. So...did he just come along and invent a new God? If you read history you will discover that it's actually the followers of Jesus who invented the new God.

I think you're misreading my posts. Im not trying to promote any praticular mythology here. All these books fail to povide morality, and they're all bullshit, the only difference is in the size of the pile.

I dont have my own 'holy book' and i dont take any ancient mytholoy seriously. Im not an expert in Qu'ran since i didnt study it closely, however i was a christian for about 20 years and i do know the bible really well. And i does promote slavery, genocide, punishment for thought crimes (eternity in hell) many time over and over again through out the book. Picking the few places that support modern morals is called cherrypicking.

Bible(Qu'ran too) is full of evil and is vile attempt at morality
