i never knew Taylor personally, but I did go to her school. I was a grade younger than her, (7th) and when I heard of this, I just couldnt believe something this tragic couldve happened. Our whole school honors Taylor as she was a very nice person. We even dedicated an award called the "Taylor Storch Bronco Award" to her, in memory of her, and it is given to the person that is very kind and outgoing. I think that it is a great award and I am still really sad to hear about Taylor.

I can't believe this happened to her at my age... in Beaver Creek... I go to Vail almost every weekend and ski... right next to the place she passed... it's scary to realize that any moment could be your last, any breath, any smile, any blink could be the last.... she is in a better place now... and soon her mother will be with her because life is like the blink of an eye compared to eternity in heaven.... all 13 years old should act the way her mom described her.... god bless her and her family

Organ donation is great...most of the time! When my dad died they took some of his organs, one of which being his leg bones. About a year later we got a letter wondering if we knew that they ground the bone up and made screws and sold them FOR PROFIT!!! This is not right and its the reason I am not an organ donor. It is unethical to profit from something that was donated to you to begin with!!!!!

I am very glad to that others will donate though. I just can't after my experience.

The point she makes about drivers licenses is very important. Many people think that if you sign the back of your driver's license you are on the registry database...not the case. In Vermont, the DMV and registry are not linked. You need to register online. Also, people get separated from their drivers license during a car accident. EMS doesnt have time to find your wallet or purse before they take you to the hospital. Very inmportant story.

Organ and tissue donation has been something I've always considered. And well this video was the final push. I just printed out the form for Gift of Life Consent form in Ontario, Canada. I intend on filling it out and going over it with my family, so in case anything happens they understand my wishes. I wish nothing but the best for her family and that she is truly happy to see what a great cause she has began. :) rest in peace
