  • Can it carry TSAR???

  • @leahtsilvestre2010

Yep. That and more. Could probably carry 2 or three of those.

  • I have the weirdest boner right now

  • The cool thing with this rocket is that, when the boosters separate the first stage is full of fuel!

  • @TheFirkant yeah, thanks to propellant cross-feeding

  • @DVA5656 Too bad the space shuttle was made mostly as an elaborate proof of concept that brought with it high expectations. Being "cool" was exactly what it was intended for. Just like a Japanese violin playing robot is cool, but it wasn't built to solve a specific problem. It was more of a vanity project to serve interests of the companies that built it, and spread marketing hype.

  • While this looks AWESOME, the only comparable rocket in history, the gigantic Soviet N1, never even got to its first stage cutoff without exploding. Expect SpaceX to experience serious pogo oscillation issues with the Falcon Heavy.

  • I have a rocket very similar to that one. Except mine comes with a built in paper parachute, and room for one plastic armyman.

  • These guys are unstoppable! Love it!

  • Good video. Good music. Great inpsiration. This parallels launching a "dream" for a better future...

  • How about sending an unmanned Dragon to Mars flyby and return in the first launch payload of Falcon Heavy ? ;)

  • Space shuttle is and will always be cooler.

  • that is some rocket but I still think its not enough to make a mars mission a mars mission needs a 100 to a 80 ton of heavy lift. I dont think it can be done with 50 ton lifters sorry but its really true maybe they can make it bigger and more powerful because 50 tons is a far cry from 100 tons

  • @TheCHUCKY1992 It wouldn't be too difficult to just launch 2 FH's for a mission to Mars. Also, SpaceX has a concept for a vehicle capable of lifting 140K kg to LEO, the Falcon XX.

  • @Cronites it would take up to 11 launchs just to have a mars vehicle 100 tons is needed if not more maybe if they really up grade it because its a small rocket

  • @TheCHUCKY1992 11 FH launches? That would be a very large vehicle. That's a large amount of launches for one mission whether you use a 50 ton or 100 ton to LEO rocket. Though I agree, the bigger the rocket the better for large missions to Mars.

  • @TheCHUCKY1992

I believe they're developing an F-1 class engine. The solids cartel has NASA by the balls so private industry free of the government/industrial complex is the only hope of getting back to the Apollo days before the shuttle ended the US lead in aerospace. Putting humans on solids is asinine, foolhardy and prelude to manslaughter.

  • This is awesome, SpaceX is transforming the game, and someone has to because the last 30 years with the shuttle have been a waste of time. These guys are the best thing to happen to the Space Industry in donkey's years. Love how SpaceX just gets stuff done and I wish them every success in the future!

  • finally some movement!

  • I say give the Kelly bros the keys to the Dragon. Lets rock!

  • Spaceflight, done with private business flair.

  • I want one.

  • I can't believe 53 tons to LEO, just a year ago they were saying 34 tons, how did they upscale it that, much? I can't believe cross feeding can add the extra 19 tons! Just look at the masses, the Falon 9 weighs 333,000 kg, the heavy spaceX claims will weigh 1,400,000 kg, that 4.2 times increase in mass, that got to be more then 3 cores, as 3 cores would weigh 3 times the weight of a Falcon 9! Its got to have 5 cores to weigh that much!

  • @frbe0101 Are you sure that both of those numbers are with/without the fuel added to the weight?

  • @baillou2

That the weight with fuel, launch weight.

  • @baillou2

That the weight with fuel, launch weight.

  • @frbe0101 I just realized that maybe the figures are also taking into account their max payload. Maybe that's where the extra weight is coming from.

  • @baillou2

53 tons to LEO does not add up to the 400+ tons difference

  • 53 Tons to LEO. This HAS BALLS!

  • American metal into the solar system! Time to build a real Empire and stop wasting our time and money chasing religious nut cases around the world.

  • thumbs up for falcon heavy

  • We should all admire SpaceX founder Elon Musk, we should thank him for showing us how to travel to space, and we should all learn from him. Does he give lessons?

  • Falcon heavy thats awesome, i wonder how many people will use it because the largest payloads are only how its payload to orbit but it can not do a large ingection to mars so why not 4 booster's around the core stage instead of 2

  • ULA might as well just close up shop right now.

  • Brincadeira mesmo né empresa privada lançando foguete e o Brasil lançando garrafa pet.

  • AWESOME falcon heavy cant wait to see it fly

  • @LonghornPhysicist Oh and its really hilarious how someone that claims to works for ATK is so concerned with not waisting taxpayer money. Well how does that apply to ATK and the Shuttle then? Not waisting money. So the Shuttle costing 1.5 billion dollars pr launch is NOT waisting money? Not waisting at least 1.3 billion dollars pr launch? Not poring taxpayer money directly into profits at ATK, Lockheed Martin and Boeing?

How can you even begin to use waisting taxpayer money with your conscience?

  • @LonghornPhysicist ATK has blood on its hands from Challenger. ATK knew about how dangerous and piss-poor their design were for years and they did absolutely nothing to fix it. You trying to wash your hands of something thats so obviously one big major screw up is hilarious. It totally ruins the last shred of credibility you have left.

  • @LonghornPhysicist Bullshit... just bullshit again... theres no one single system on the ISS that cant be sent there by other space vehicles than the Shuttle and not costing 1.5 billion dollars a launch...

  • @LonghornPhysicist Bullshit... pure bullshit...ATK couldnt make something as simple as a solid rocket booster work which is basically just a big pipe. No wonder you couldnt make cross feeding work... Who knew?..

thanks for ruining the American space program with your ridiculously expensive bullshit and not working crap..

thanks for waisting billions of taxpayer money and for effectively setting back space exploration 30 years...

well done...ATK profit comes before America right...

  • @LonghornPhysicist Yeah ATK certainly hired the best to design the most expensive and danger prone system around for the SRB. Good job on choosing the best to design something that actually failed and brought the whole space program to a grinding halt. Good on ya... And just to emphasize the hiring of the best your beloved ULA actually gets ONE BILLION dollars a year from NASA whether they launch or not. Thats absolutely ridiculous.... your making rocket science my ass..

  • @LonghornPhysicist I think you have a serious problem with basic thinking skills... the Dragon spacecraft is meant as an astronaut and cargo vehicle. If the Falcon Heavy were to have built the ISS it could have done so at a fraction of the cost and with even bigger parts than the Shutlle could carry. Just the fact that FH can carry twice as much cargo than the Shuttle should tell you something but apparently reality do not mean anything to you.

fanboy...LOL..The pot calling the kettle black

  • way to go!!

  • Amazing rocket cant wait for it to fly keep up the good work spacex

  • Falcon heavy has 27 thrusters. The Soviet N-1 had 30, and failed in every launch. The even larger Saturn 5, which never failed, had 5. Maybe it is wrong to compare the Falcon Heavy to N-1 because of the amount of thrusters. Seems like the FH has 3 clusters of 9 thrusters each, while the N-1 had one cluster of 30 Thrusters. Maybe the 9-thruster cluster will be very reliable. It's just that when one thruster has a low chance of failure, the chance of failure compined rises adding extra thrusters.

  • @Kulumuli The N-1 failed due to a turbo pump exploding... If the Saturn V lost an engine it would mean the end of the mission. With the propellant cross feed arrangement both the Falcon 8 and Falcon Heavy can reach its performance objectives with an engine out and in the case of the Falcon Heavy it can lose several engines and still make it.

  • PENISPENISPENISPENISPENIS, just say'in

  • Space penis!!!

  • @phikaptoun Again mixing things up and taking things out of context.. They are not talking about actual plans for the Falcon 9 or even the Falcon Heavy. It would take a complete redesign of their rocket, propulsion system and vehicle integration. It would be great if you actually could keep todays reality apart from how things might be in the sometime in the future and not start to insinuate that I have selective hearing when he is clearly not talking about today but some future possibilities.

  • To beatlefriend- It is of course true that many comments on this do not advance our understanding of spacex, or are even that representative of human intelligence in general. That said, there is some bit of gold here, stopping comments will simply take that away.

  • Great, now where do I get one?

  • Love the soundtrack and love the future of space missions.

  • Fuck yeah, capitalism

  • @phikaptoun Thank you for taking things Elon says completely out of context. He is not talking about the Falcon Heavy. He is talking about the ultimate theoretical "dream" of how spaceflight might be some day if it could become like normal air transport. He is not talking about current plans or present day reality, he is talking about what would be the ultimate cost reducing breakthrough.. you are mixing things up and taking things completely out of context.

  • @phikaptoun Thanks for tolling me.... again... apparently I am such a troll magnet

  • @phikaptoun

Multiple flights a day with the same rocket just isn't practical. They're aiming for 20 flights a year. Since there's significantly more than 20 days in a year, it's clear they'll be launching a lot less than several times a day.

  • @phikaptoun LOL... are you even suggesting that a rocket could be launched several times the same day after having been launched and then dumped into the ocean?...LOL..

do you even know how long it takes to recover the thing and how long flight integration takes for a single brand new rocket...LOL... I am being trolled again... good on you...

  • It may be time for Spacex to stop the commentary on their You Tube videos. Not sure if I need to hear about penis' instead of policy and spaceflight engineering. Not to be a jerk but some of the comments do little to advance spaceflight conversation. So much for you tube science......

  • @beatlefriend Your appraisal of the lowest-level viewer commentary that we see beneath YouTube videos is correct. There are stupid, ignorant, and crude people who make useless comments on YouTube. Based upon the content, they seem to be frustrated young males of marginal intelligence but ample testosterone flow. Trouble is, when you cut off viewer commentary, you also cut off all of the interesting, creative, and relevant commentary by good folks. I argue for free speech & ignoring the garbage.

  • @partic8574 Stop this advertising shit on this important video

  • @vitalaz7565 Stop this advertising shit on this important video

  • so what , it still can't get to pluto

  • What if he hit a bird or something? Fuck that shit!

  • im so happy that as a human race we can unite and send a massive cock into space

  • I saw this same dildo in my moms closet

  • Dildo ignition sequence in 3.. 2.. 1.. 0:56

  • That's a lot of thrust for a dildo

  • Looks like a giant dildo...

  • "-Fire ze missiles!!

    -but i'm le tired!

    -Well, take a nap

    - AND ZEN FIRE ZE MISSILEs

  • Oh I've played this game before!

  • that flame wouldn't work in space fool

  • i want one like this how mutch does it costs

  • What is a tampon?

  • thought this wasnt gay till i lookd at the comments

  • what the fuck kinda dicks are you guys looking at

  • nice video

  • Looks like a dick flying in space o_0

  • Hmmm. It seems to transform from a penis with strange balls to a tampon... Interesting....

  • Go Go Falcon Heavy, go and discover Cybertron, lol

  • Well that looked cool

  • this will show those commie bastards whats what

  • @MrPaulAlcantara Yeah! That'll show the... Vietnamese... Space Program?

  • It's headed for the black hole.

if you know what i mean.

  • What is it used for exactly

  • @daddylonglegs62 lol i was just asking my self that, but i don't think it'll be coming back down though..

  • made me hard

  • Some kind of an idiot's project. Waste of money....no dreams fulfilled, only eyes awake NIGHTMARE for NOTHING. Results....more foreclosures and more made in china stuffs in your market shelves.

  • @cass2chk your an idiot, the government isn't making, more money into the economy. Made in America, providing American jobs you probably have never owned a house and have no idea about foreclosures.

  • @cass2chk Waste of money, eh? SpaceX is a private company and what Elon Musk does with his business is IS his business!

  • It looks like P*****

  • lmfao that does look like a dick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!gwaaarrrrrrraarrwwwrara

  • Austin Powers would approve

  • Clearly fake.

  • I wasn't the only one who expected more FALCON PUNCH!

  • Waste of fuel+money(tax) is what what I think of this.

  • @Oscar847 it's a private organisation

  • @Oscar847 1. Its fuel is hydrogen which comes from water. 2. SpaceX is a private company so it gets no government funding.

  • @St8Solja

    Waste.

  • Houston we have a problem. I think there is a giant penis/dildo on our radar.

  • Im so gonna buy that...

  • reminds me of austin powers at the end, it looks like aaa hugh....., look at this gigantic....., ^^

  • @Tubewelt Johnson

  • this is rocket from austin powers

  • this is a major tribute to a dick

  • where is teh Falcon PUNCH?!?

  • @nimahc There is no Falcon Punch but rather, a Falcon LAUNCH!!

  • its US penis

  • Quick question: why do the rockets have to get rid of some of their parts?

  • @MrDevilius1 because more energy and fuel is required to leave earth than is required to fly in space, so when they leave earth they no longer require the extra thrust or empty fuel tanks so they ditch it and let it fall back to earth where it burns up and is destroyed, or retrieved to be recycled and used again.

  • @MrDevilius1 Its because those two outside tanks are solid rocket boosters. All they are is fuel and engine They fire then once depleted all they are is extra weight. May as well get rid of them.

  • @XxAeronautxX True but in the long term they are going to be develop to be fully reusable.

  • @FireseedProduction Yep. =) Hopefully it happens soon but last i heard the boosters were totally wreaked once they found em.

  • Imagine that thing is going to uranus)))))

  • I want to get to uranus

  • I can see NASA getting in on this.

Since this the last year of the: S.T.S. Orbiters.

  • Great more space junk.

  • The frequency of trying-to-be-funny, infantile penis comments is off-scale high here. It's like these kids never even saw a picture of another rocket before.

  • @ugowar Welcome to Youtube.

  • @TheInterplumber Yeah, I know. It was more of a rhetorical observation I had to get off my chest.

  • chuck norris gave this to his wife as a sexy anniversary present.

  • LOL

  • propellant cross feed is a beast, that leaves a full stage when the boosters disconnect

  • This thing and my penis have a lot of in common they both like to penetrate unknown places they both like to go fast they both are gient mother fuckers your mom rided us both i'm gonna call my penis SpaceX

  • it's a PENIS!

  • shmexy!

  • @infinityskit in the earths upper stratosphere you would still be able to hear engine separation from the "cameras point of view. But your right in space sound waves cannot travel.

  • i wanted a heavy video -_-

  • i don`t think so.... it just a dream

  • It's funny how in the space 0:54 you can hear the engine churning. Thumbs up if you think animation FAIL!

  • Looks awesome. Can't wait to see what kind of space-tech will be around even 50 years from now.

  • What is the playload in GEO?

  • 27 engines....... Oh no.

  • 0.55-1.05 noo...my testicles..NOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • It would be SOOO stupid if it turned out that that penis shape is the optimal one for the task and saves fuel or maintains stability in flight for being aerodynamic or something, but that scientists decided against using the shape anyway so people wouldn't laugh at them.

It does make one giggle a bit, though, and that's not a bad thing either.

  • Obviously too many Austin Power movies.

  • I'm sure many women will enjoy its powerful thrust.

  • Damn, I commented on how the previous video got more views than the rest of the channels vids combined, and this one blasted past that in less time, kudos!

  • Where the fuck are they going with all that power? Think about that!

  • But.. Will It Blend?

  • @ernesto9876543219876 it must be the bigest blender in the world)))

  • @Vasy2310 totally :D

  • its the ambiguously gay duo space vehicle!!

  • Lmao its a fucking dick!

  • Can it carry TSAR???

  • Nice flying penis!

  • What you guys expect? Some halo aircraft? wake up guys....freaken be mature.

  • Anyone who types on here saying that the rocket looks like a penis is (obsessed) and should question their (sexuality) very closely.Real Talk#

  • It looks almost exactly like my penis!! Only that one is a little on the small side.

  • I know it's kind of irrational but it pisses me off that all people can say about this is how it looks like a penis...

  • @yousuperpussy it does look like a penis

  • @yousuperpussy considering your name is "yousuperpussy", it seems totally rational that people would mention genitals on the internet at any chance they can haha

  • @MrIplaybaseball I understand what you're getting at but pussy is used as an insult in my username rather than refer to an actual vagina.... or cat.

  • It looks like a giant penis

  • love spacex

  • Way to go Spa-seX

  • Makes sence spacex kinda sounds likke space sex and that's why they sent a big white penis into space

  • I wanna stick my dick in a big bowl of puddin

  • NASA WAS LIKE "IMMA SEND MY DICK INTA SPACE"

  • make it less of a dick shaped craft and more of a UFO, then we'll be impressed =)

  • It looks like a dick because dicks are supposed to have a lot of thrust.

  • it has 8 holes to blow farts at has more fart power than 15 747 at full fart power.

  • In 50 years we will look back on space x and be in awe of what they have accomplished.

  • Here we come Uranus!!
