  • My step dad has a '66 ford with no rust. Needs a new paint and a new carb(just started leaking a few weeks ago.) Has a 460 big block and if he gives it to me,i am going to put on an 8 pack or 2 4 barrels on it.

  • worlds #1 ford fan giving you props!

  • Nice truck. Gotta love the sound of a healthy Big Block. Mine brings a smile to my face every time i drive it.

  • God damn. I would KILL for this.

  • That is one SICK vehicle!

  • Is that 3" Flowmaster serie 40's ???

  • @TKOrace

    yes, that's the ones

  • @bigalforsyth

    Nice Truck!

I have a 1974 C10 Stepper, Im trying to do something about the rear tail-lights and I noticed your Corvette style roll-pan.

Can you explaine a little bit about that custom work?

    Thanks,

  • @MrAss707

i forget who, but one of the truck parts vendors sells this roll pan as it appears in this vid. Its been a long time ago though

  • I really like the front end very clean

  • sound the fucken nutz !!!

  • forsyth as in Forsyth county ga, cumming??

  • This is a very well built truck. Whomever bought this thing for $13,500 got a deal.

  • OMG I get horny everytime I hear a big block start up and idle. This is music to my libido.

  • i think i peed a little!!

  • holey fuck that sound fucken sick

  • TO THE NEW OWNER, I LOST THE VOICE MESSAGE, GIVE ME A CALL BACK IF YOU SEE THIS!

    THANKS,

    ALAN

  • Is it still for sale?

  • @blazerchevy94DUDMAN

long gone but wish i'd kept it...

  • what are the cam specs ??? nice truck very tasteful !!

  • @tandjz

    can't remember

  • Great truck, wicked idle!

  • Sounds good....what was your top speed in it?

  • @chevyfeen86

never got the chance to wring it out before selling it, but it was a torque monster and would light the rear tires in at any speed

  • What offset is the rear rims?

  • @84chevy454

i wish i could remember because they fit perfectly under the truck and at 12" wide it had to be dead on.

  • Man I dont care what anybody says. I LOVE the tail lights. I have have this same model sitting in my driveway and Im trying to restore it. Those goofy bolt on tail lights are an eye sore! What did you have to do to make that tail light setup work? I doubt the wiring was too complicated but how did you make them fit so well? I'm kind of a newbie to the truck world so any help is appreciated! haha.

  • Damn...

  • ah! love that distinkt 468 sound, I have one in my 85 blazer.

  • that has got to be the sexiest stepside i have ever seen.

  • I can't tell you how many times i have listened to this video. This truck just at idle puts a ear to ear grin on my face. You did a hell of a job on your ride . Thanx for sharing it! R.C. from California :) :)

  • hey do you know where i can take my truck to get the valves and carb tuned for it

  • nice, sick paint job, but 1 thing i wouldnt have done the zr1 rollpan, maybe on a s-10 or 90's silverado, but not this, the original tailight kick ass on the 70's model trucks, but good job if thats what you like

  • Why does it have the corvette tail lights ? it doesn't fit this garbage -.-

  • @Hamodyxxx0

The first sentence was ok, but the second makes me assume you're another BS'r with too much time on his hands and never was taught by your momma to keep your mouth shut if you had nothing nice to say.

if you've seen these truck in original form you know the "screwed on trailer lights" just look bad. They stick out like a sore thumb and add ZERO to a hot rod. There's several options like installing caddy lights that are tall and slender, custom, or the vette style.

  • @bigalforsyth i like the trailer lights. but those vette lights are brilliant.

  • @bigalforsyth he's just some dumb cocksucker. nice truck, i love bored 454's sounds nasty.

    ,jon

  • omg diz came is hell!

  • 2 chambers or is that the flowmaster 50s?

  • @ramdaspadhye

i can't remember but it was the classic/original Flowmasters before they started the numerical series i believe.

  • @ramdaspadhye i don't know what this other retard is talking about those tail lights look GOOD!! i want one of these trucks BAD!!

  • That truck is so apsolutely perfect in every way theres not a thing out of place it must of been really hard to sell it

  • dont ever delete this video. it puts me to sleep at night. hope whoever you sold it to is takin care of her. im building a 468 for my 84 custom deluxe as i speak. this truck sounds better than all the big block cars i've heard on youtube

  • You asshole, you should have a warning. *May jizz in pants at ignition!...hahah that thing sounds meeaaann

  • dang that thing sounds awesome!

  • @68showngo

yes it did. I keep the vid because i loved that truck, but at times i want to get rid of the video because its sad...now two years later i want another hot rod truck. You know how it is...sellers remorse. That truck was a beast. it had those huge Mickey Thompsons on the rear yet would shred them at a moment's notice. Talk about a head turner...

  • What kind of cam and lifters are you running

  • @midwestEz

the truck has been gone so long i don't even remember now. I remember the cam was a lot like the Mother Thumpers that came out recently.

  • i have the same corvette light bumper on my 1990 ss 454.

  • اهب صوته تقل ترويس دواسر

  • very nice truck man,i have a 68 GMC stepside

  • dude that thing sounds so fuckin good. almost jizzed myself.

  • Congratulations! The track is fantastic! I´m argentinian.. I can´t believe what I´m seeing. I can´t imagine how much time and money you spent on it.. hehe

  • what is the name of the wheels i know they are starlite's but whats the name of the manufacture?

  • they are Weld Prostars 15x12 rear, 15x8 front. Do a search for weld racing wheels and you'll find them.

  • wat a pretty truck

  • I forget which flowmaster exactly, but its the old school original 2 chambers.

  • very nice

    its For sale?

  • i hated to sell it but yes, it is sold, and I miss it.

  • That Sportside Truck is so COOL, I was so blown away by the good taste, it was very well done, Perfect , the ZR-1 roll pan(awesome...)very clean and bold, sound absolutely strong, I dreamed with that Truck man, I saw myself in it, Sat night shining at night as I drove past and my ex wife dreaming she was still married with me so she could be inside that Stepside...America at it's Best, lovely shape these Trucks! Great Color(Orange) 15x10 Chevy Rallies wheels in it would be just Magic...

  • hot rods do make you day dream! I agree w/ the 15x10 ralleys. If I had kept it I would have put the ralleys on it for sure.

  • Sounds real good for a street truck.

  • light that son a bitch up

  • i love it i have one just like it only mine is not finished yet and its black 15x8s in the front and 15x10s in the rear 542 cid rat motor near 600 horses th700r4 but i havent had the money to finish it yet the shell was given to me and i already had the 454 from my dads previous suburban i want to finish it so bad.

  • Now THAT is the sound of pure American muscle! Sick truck!!

  • mpg hahah

  • 2 gallons per mile...

  • very very nice, and nice sound.

  • nice color what is it?

  • supposed to be genuine GM Hugger Orange

  • man that truck is kickass! what mods to the motor?

  • it was bored out and had a nice valvetrane, otherwise I don't know the details. it ran strong, that I know.

  • oh its so beautiful

  • omg that sounds so good!

  • What kind of gauges are those and where can I get some? looking to put some in my 84 and also did they come in set?

  • all Autometer gauges, Pro Comp Series I believe. They make them in the correct size to bolt into the factory locations/holes.

  • do you know the size of the cam? i love that sound. i'm looking to drop a big block in my 84' shortwide and i want a cam thats similar to this.

  • it was a custom grind, but don't know the numbers. Go with a Comp Thumpr series and you won't be dissapointed

  • Sounds like a .480 or something... Maybe larger.

  • it does sound like a .480

  • my dad has a .500 lift an it dosent lope like that . more like .600 + intake lift

  • that is a vary nice truck i cant beleave u sold it must have lots of toys lol

  • I love my imports, but you can't beat that sound!

  • thats real clean man, more than reasonable sale price too. But for 1980, you cant run that where I live. California, only time you can really modify a motor such as this, it has to be pre-smog , pre '74, that is if you plan on crusing around town. other wise is licenced as a track car only

  • California is nice, but couldn't live there...I don't know if anyting I own would pass!

  • Sick.

  • what camshaft is in there?

  • wish I knew...customer hydraulic grind
