Hi ive upgraded to a sandisk extreme pro SDHC 90mbs card and when i try to go to a higher bitrate 1.5 or higher it still keeps stopping can u tell me any other ways to get this to wrk besides disabling the audio
@TheMugfaker TRUE! I'm so use to using SD cards that I forgot :) And now the XQD cards are going to be making a name for themselves over the next few years
just have to say, youtube's compression quality really doesn't make a difference to us for these test videos. yeah you will notice on your local computer, and yeah you'll be able to do alot more with your image, but this video didn't really show the difference X)
Surely you didn't upload this video at 76MBps so how is it a comparison? It will all be much lower than the lowest bit rate being tested. And if you want to test bit rate you'll need a much more active image than these which are almost completely still. The camera will not have even been using even 66MBps to record this footage regardless of how high you set the bit rate, the image is not complex or moving enough. I don't mean to be a dick, but this test was a waste of time.
Could you decide which unit to use? Topic says MegaBytes per second (MBps) and video says millibits(mbps) per second and it's Megabits per second really(Mbps). It's really not that hard to do it right :)
yeah, me too .. as you said a side by side comparison would show better the difference between the 3 modes .. in this video it's not really noticeably .. would like to know if with the higest setting problems occure often because of the huge amount of data that's saved..
@Black7Cloud Agreed. We'd love to be able to watch the original files and compare. I'm considering buying the 5D this year and hacking the firmware. Perhaps the 7D if they can crack it. Not sure if the price difference between the two is quite worth it yet.

I can't tell the difference, but thumbs up because hacking the 5d2 is by no means an easy feat. Good job to the magic lantern team!

Couldn't notice much difference too, even at 1080. A side-by-side comparison would be great. Nice video though :)

Can you make this video downloadable? Youtube butchers the bitrate.
