@ddd8828 Not even once on that match did I use the detonator as a detonator. I only had it equipped because it's craft nº95, so I was showing it off.
I barely equip it, and when I do I do my best not to abuse its glitch.
But for that match, I would have performed exactly as well if I was using the flare gun (perhaps even better, because there were some detonator minicrits)
I'm still looking for the "right" song, though (and it must be copyright-less; I want to upload it on PUG Gaming) and am gathering those "awesome" clips. Preferably longer or impossibly difficult trickshots.
If possible, I'd greatly enjoy a successful reflect rocket jump clip =)
I did see this on SPUF, and I feel more inclined to answer you here.
Skillwise? Can't tell a damn thing. The only thing I can see from this is that you know how to aim a flare, and that's just a small part of the skill tree of a pyro. The editing... I don't really feel as if there is any editing, truly. The ethicality of using a glitch using the detonator? Eh, I don't care so much about that. Flare kills are boring though; they're the new axtinguisher material: Filler.
Pyro has several skill types required to succeed, but almost none fit in a pyro fragvid; they're more of a commentary material. Fact of the matter is, when you get so many kills in a single game, you must be doing stuff correctly.
As for editing: There really was little to no editing. As I said in SPUF, I spent more time recording than editing. I intend to spend more time editing for the full version, though.
Wait no.

Detonator glitch abuse makes for pro frag videos.

Pretty great, dude! I like that there's no over the top edits, and you did a fantastic job of syncing to the music. Still planning a full version?
