If it were really a 1979 it would be a actually be a Snowmaster. The started in 1980 to call them S-200's and about 1988-1989 started calling them S-620's.
@GOPHERFREAK Thanks for adding that info. I scored one this morning and had no idea it was THAT old. Thirty one years later and that old Tecumseh engine started just fine (with the help of a new spark plug). The rubber augers are in nice shape too. I don't think the previous owner used it much. Good product. Perfect for the occasional 10-30 cm we get in my area.
@weasel884 I know your posting is a year old but 32:1 is 4 oz. of oil to one gallon of gas 8 oz. puts you at 16:1 and that is hella rich. if he uses 8 oz. with 2 gallons of gas then he is OK, just wanted to call you out on that to make sure that it wasn't a typo on your end and you didn't think you where wright at 8oz. to one gallon of gas!!!
That machine would not be a 1979. Toro was only making S-200s then. S-620's came about 1988. So it's probably an 1989.

@GOPHERFREAK r u sure because my grandpa had it since 1999 i had it since october of 2010 and my great grandpa said he bought it in 1979

to help with your 32:1 use 8 oz of oil to every gallon of gas any less and its shot.

Actually that mix would be 16:1. 32:1 reguires only 4oz per gallon. Those 8oz bottles are for 2 gallons.
