I got chased by a wasp once. Couldn't outrun it. I thought it was just faster than me. Turns out it's a fucking quantum physicist.....on an intuitive level no less!!!
as usual, fascinating stuff. i feel as though going back to the beginning and watching the entries in chronological order may provide a more fundamental understanding of the material, but skipping around is just so tempting and fun.
for some reason, deja vu almost feels as if it's more sixth dimensional. as though you're momentarily slipping into a universe in which you arrived at that point a moment sooner.
Hate to nit pick, but Giants Causeway is actually in Northern Ireland not Ireland, sorry its its one of our countrys defining features. Great post tho :)
what if our future self could send information back in time in the 4dimension so as me in the now could have an intuition on what Im gonna do. Eg. you lose something but you have the intuition that you will find that item somewhere...that intuition might be the cause of your future self sending information into the pase (present now) letting me know that the future me has found the item. Would that exclude the 5dimensional idea as talked about in this entry or my idea still the same in a way?
What's so unreasonable about this theory? If bees see in the 6th then they are being baffled and dropping dead. Why do dogs and cats run away to be alone and die? It's just seeing time differently based on biology. If this shit is so kooky why is everyone watching this video? Oh yeah because physics is kooky because its theories jackasses.

According to what I know, the bees are desapearing because of the vibration of the cell phones, because it messes with the electromagnetic fields of the earth and the comunication between the bees becomes crippled.
Just because bees make their nests out of hexagons does not mean they see in the sixth dimension. Sorry. We don't even know if the sixth dimension exists. In mathematics it can exist, but theres no factual evidence for other dimensions in reality.
@sneedledout Clearly you dozed off while watching this video, because the "sixth dimensional" reference has nothing to with the hexagons of a bee hive. Try watching from the 4:30 mark and you'll see where he's talking about the science behind this idea.
I've often thought very literally on insect as a word, and the seasons of migrations with monarch butterflies. To think they are an intersection of vertices of a polygon, the mechanical state they endure. Their hearts are also very fascinating to see.
So Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy was wrong. It's not dolphins it' bees. Soon they'll all leave us singing "So long and thanks for all the . . . pollen?"
Hey, Rob, I watch your videos because they teeter between imaginative and kooky and I enjoy the philosophical angle you have -- but you took a serious left turn into "kooky" with the bee thing. Bees as a harbinger of global catastrophe? Uh, no. Unfortunately, it's as much a harbinger of global catastrophe as the Black Plague. Bees are dying from a fungal disease. They're not vanishing into the aether; they're dropping dead.
@AfraidtoFly Where did I say they're vanishing into the aether? The phrase I use is "canaries in a coalmine": canaries don't disappear, they die.
Do canaries have an evolutionary advantage that makes them die? Not really an advantage if it kills them, wouldn't you say? In the same sense, perhaps being able to see sixth dimensionally is not giving these bees an evolutionary advantage.
Please google these two words - bees tangential - and read my blog entry "Bees and Tangential Thinking".
@10thdim Rob, I've read it and I respect your opinion. It's just not resonating with me. I think you're drawing a false conclusion with hexagons and the mystical significance of "6." No, you didn't say bees are "disappearing into the aether," you did say "vanishing," with which I made an incorrect leap -- sorry about that. Sometimes, when making juxtapositions between science and mysticism, you're going to lose some folks... and you might even be wrong. You just lost me on this one, that's all.
I find it interesting how much people read into these blogs by trying to relate the concepts to their own preconceived notions of what makes sense to them. I mean honestly, what else could we do to understand something... I urge you to follow more closely what is and isn't being said. Rob is merely asking some questions so that we can think about what it means to be connected to all possibility of our reality. In other words, the communication may be of a higher dimensional order.
@AfraidtoFly no the bees r not dropping dead, theyre disappearing. big difference. it would be no problem and no mystery if we saw dead bees all over the floor.
personally i think theyre having trouble reproducing after eating GMO plants and having their genes messed up
If they interact with the sixth dimension, would it not be their viewing of the other possible universes but that the possibilities are destroying them inherently?
Not another universe...thats not till the 7th dimension or above.
We might conjecture that the bees communicate on a more six dimensional (all possible probability of our universe), and therefore they know that if they align themselves to this probability that they are heading towards (dying off), that our current probability line as humans will take notice, and create a new probability line towards a "more suitable" probable future for both humans and bees. Food for thought :)
Look up dark energy, rob. A physicist has supposed that we may be about to "pop" out of existence at any moment because of our observation of dark energy.
so bees are dying out in our world because they are dying out in the 6th dimension, in anopther world, in another dimension, where possibly gobal warming is too high, or something. interesting theory.
My understanding is that the Bee population has been reduced due to a number of simultaneous issues, among which is a fungus going around that is quite deadly to them.
So bees are dying out because they can see alternative realities where there are no flowers...or possibly loads of flowers giving them a blasé attitude to collecting pollen. It's a rather unique theory I'll give you that, hah.
But according to your theory on Dimensions all possible realities throughout all time in our universe are necessary to create a point in the seventh dimension. Right? So all the realities have already happened, why would the various differences only now be affecting bees?
@JallenMeodia Yes, according to my approach to visualizing the dimensions, the 6th contains all possible versions of our particular universe, but there are still states which would be "near" or "far" from a particular point in the 6th dimension. You can imagine it this way - think of a map of the world. A road you're traveling on is a 4th dimensional line, a junction where you turn onto a different road (or not) uses the 5th dimension, but all the connecting space between the roads is the 6th.
The 7th would be stepping back to a perspective where the 6th dimension becomes a single point once again... so our universe and all its possible timelines would be a single point in the 7th dimension. The 8th then is a line between two of these points (two universal infinities). The 9th then could be stated just as the 6th appears for our universe, but on the multi-verse scale, all possible timelines of all possible universes... and in the 10th dimension this all becomes a point
@jokerbookshop It feels like a point in the 7th sometimes. Or a pull through the 6th to an alternative 3d+time. But the dimensionality of mind/consciousness I experience when meeting Sally resides outside the scope reachable by reasoning about dimensions. PS: Next time you meet Sally, check if you can spot some bee-beings over there.
@analogious oh for show, i call them entities and i think they communicate telepathically. them again when i give them a thumbs up they smile and understand, they also know sign language.
