  • @HipHopkins09 Please click on my YouTube Channel and see the newest YouTube I just posted. It will also give you a link to his young Granddaughter he has never met singing a new song her Dad, GL's son produced. I was able to reunite his youngest and only son through his 2nd marriage because of my YouTubes although he lives on the W. Coast. I have a YouTube documentary series on GL but he still struggles...he still gets out there almost every day and plays which is amazing.

  • Great tunes.

  • Suzannah, I don't know you. But I love you. Majal Logan, his grandaughter, is my daughter. This means so much to her and the family. God Bless you always.

  • @MelodyElize Thanks so much! I really appreciate your acknowledgement because I have people that attempt to erase my work and I work hard! Thank you.

Very moving and I called Giuseppi and read him your comment!!! Thanks so much for brightening GL and my -- our day!

  • WOW! never heard about him before. now I have! heard what he did on esp. what a great musician!

    really inspiring! wow wow wow!

  • Heard about this guy whilst listening to WMFU today... thanks for sharing :)

  • Thank you!!!!! I have 17 YouTubes on him including a cool cd signing in Chinatown at this great jazz store. Thanks for your comment!

  • Absolutely touching, what a story.

  • Thanks and gratitude. I set up a playlist of YouTubes I have made about GL. So many people thought he was dead. I just bought my first Apple and learned how to make YouTubes and I knew when I filmed him this was something amazing. I did not know people thought he was dead or had records of his from the '60's and treasure his music to this day. Thanks so much for being part of the story!

  • nice playing

  • Giuseppe Logan was -- and hopefuly still is -- one of the great sax players. He didn't lose it. I've also been to Tompkin Square Park, in January 1999, and it was FREEZING cold. Well, did not meet Giuseppe, but maybe some other time.

May I also recommend by blog -- see link in profile -- here? Please feel free to drop by.

    Thank you, Suzanna.

  • Haunting and deeply moving.

    Thank you so much.

  • Sorry for misspelling his name: it's Giuseppi!

  • Jesus! I listened to Guiseppi Logan when I was in New York in the summer of 1976. He was playing in the street where there was this big jazz record store, King Karol. My girlfriend and I listened to him play "Barbados", a beautiful rendition!

  • This is so lovely. Carol Thanks Erik for sharing.

  • w00t!

  • By the way, his name's spelled "Giuseppi" with an "i", not to be picky, but the video may get more hits if it's spelled correctly.
