I know this is a B side for you forgot it in people isnt this song kinda just ambience played to the bass line of almost crimes, kinda like pitterpatter goes my heart with Anthems for a 17 year old girl. Either way this is awesome, just an observation I found
@MrIndiemusic101 pretty much, if you listen closely to a better quality version of the song you can also hear almost crimes played at normal speed very low in the mix.
you forgot it in people producer Dave Newfeld is pretty much solely responsible for this track as far as i remember.
@AllMyFriends Interesting. My research about this song continues... It's my favourite song of all time and I must know everything about it, it's meaning, what inspired it. I even want to know how the song title came about.
@dfjnjfn that I can help with as well. da da dada refers to the guitar line they used here from almost crimes, just sing it in your head (da da dada). I used to be a member of the BSS message board and we got a lot of info from Dave Newfeld about beehives back in the day. I'll have to see if i can dig it up for you.
@AllMyFriends Ah awesome man. Thanks a lot for the help I appreciate that. Almost Crimes is also fantastic. Please, if you find anything else out do let me know. You're a star.
Man, I think if I ever saw a live performance of this song, I would probably collapse in awe. I think this is my favourite song of all time. Even though it doesn't have words, it still speaks to me more than any other song has. I really believe that this song is also about triumph. Everytime I listen to it I feel like I can do anything. Everything becomes possible, and doors open. I can see clearly.
This went so perfect to the ending of Half Nelson. This tune says a lot of things. I think in terms of the film, it speaks of hope. It's like saying, no matter how dark Ryan Gosling's character's life seemed, there is still hope if you can find a way to grab onto it. This song is a build up into something more hopeful, until it reaches some sort of climax. It's exactly the same as Ryan Gosling's character, trying to find some hope to cling onto. I think he will probably find it, probably.
I sense Fire Eyed Boy and Almost Crimes in here... It's beautiful.

I love the build up in this song... it takes it time and then explodes in a very subtle way, amazing.

Around 1:30, it sounds like windchimes. It's very peaceful and relaxing. I should probably listen to this at work.

Really awesome, Intense music by the way. There are just so many things and emotions happening at once. Euphoria.
