  • @Thekodiak2012

Ip Man trained Bruce Lee, He trained under him for about 5 years.

  • with all his efforts.. a kick in the nuts would end it all.

  • @HaloMediaRecords can i watch you try?

  • Comment removed

  • This man is a true master of gongfu.

  • A couple of times i couldnt see arm moving. Fast.

  • I wonder how much kempo-styles would exist today, If bruce lee just did learned that martial art...

  • NICE!!!! WELL DONE VERY GOOD GUNG FU!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @WingTsunPanda yea just think if bruce lee finished all his training just think how great he would been.

  • Comment removed

  • He is obviously an airbender

  • This is simply pathetic

  • Very cool Bil Jee form. Short, powerful movements.

  • Fake man NABS!!!

  • blowing candles there...

  • Hey man!

    Are you dancing!

  • Excellent, powerful.

  • Gosh!! i'd like to learn!! that Sifu awesome man....

  • Wow, like the chi demo! Neat way to do drills for chi sau kinda reminded me of don chi.

  • 师傅好功夫

  • Sifu Bil dont listen thoes noobs who post just to post and nothing good! Respect.

  • i wish i could understand whats he's saying... but i noticed something on the candlles... the wind from his palm was like precise that he blew out the candle 1 by 1 even they were so close..

  • 不知所謂!

  • This is NOT the Bil Gee form, nor was that how you practice chi sao...

  • @JoeCool101

Well, it might not seem the Bil Gee form, but as a matter of fact, it is. This is the Bil Gee form from Lok sifu, from Foshan Lam Soi Man Wing Chun, from the Yiu Choi lineage

  • Another good substyle of the style of wingchun ! Any one studying wingchun or any martial art will have his own substyle ! Good speed and power !

  • Awesome!! Thanks for adding!!!

  • I CAN DO THAT WITH MY SAID KICK

  • HAO SIFU!!!

  • yeah blow it out sonny boy just look at his lips right when he punches freakin clown @ see you in ufc

  • hmm. so minus the robot break dancing and the spinning arms around each other oh and putting out candles it dosent really matter what style this funky stuff is. as generations die so does different styles. most old styles are of no use in todays times other than a hobby times change as do styles

  • Absolutely perfect. The use of tension and relaxation during this form is flawless. Thank you for posting.

  • @kelwynar flawless?? look at his lips his blowing

  • @boeyaka hes not blowing unless the audio has been edited there is no way u could blow out candles from that distance without blowing fairly hard which u would hear and ud want some set of lungs on u, try it ur self put ur hand out at full reach and notice the noise ull make when u blow hard enough for the breeze to be stongh enough at the distance of ur hand, let alone twice it to blow out a candle.

  • @boeyaka ok you stand that far from a candle and blow it out with your lips... show me

  • i did this 2 years :)

  • its cool , like a chicken :)) =)) !!!

  • english subtitles would be nice

  • Th original wing chun forms are in the old Fatshan Wing Chun, no in H.K. wing chun styles.

  • well nobody knows what it originally looked like but i like to think that yip man had a better understanding of wing chun in HK because he had 20 years more experience.

  • This form is not original bil jee...

  • Maybe is not de original, but who knows how was the original.

But anyway I am sure the Hong Kong style forms are not the originals.

  • Interessante Begruendungen, aber der schluss mit den kerzen ausblasen..naja..

  • ima move like this at the next party i got to...ima see what reactions i get...

  • I prefer not to use the VERY large circles to the lateral bounds in chisao exercises. VT is about economy and efficiency as I see it and these exercises are more like Tai Chi Chuan.

Why create a cyclone unecessarily, like a pendulum from side to side when we really want complete control over the centerline, not large gusts of uncontained movement. Forward energy is the golden rule, observing wrist-to-wrist connections.

One can be must more subtle with HUGE results.

    I respect this Sifu though.

  • from which lineage of ffamily is this??is it Choy family???interesting drills ^^

  • Is the man practicing this form bald or does he just cut his hair like Samurai retainers?

  • yeah...samurai were Japanese...

  • yeah I KNOW, i was making fun of his hairstyle...

    ...idiots tend to be Ameicans...

  • LOL!

  • no personal attack please; what has baldness to do with wingchun or ethnicity? or has vargyna anything to do with vagina or viagra ?

  • You too have failed to get the jist of my jest...

  • Mr Vargyna, If it is a jest, it's OK; sorry misunderstood your intention !

    your friend

  • Nice, crisp, solid form!

  • Cack

  • the candle thing is an interesting approach of training hits... like it

  • if someome could translate this....

  • This man is very skilled. I for one am grateful he was willing to go on camera to share.

His energetics are excellent. He has great skill in controlling the range of his movement while applying power within that range.

And even though it looks like he's over extending his elbow, in fact he is not. Some people have a a wider range of motion in the elbow joint. He therefore has the luxury of extending his arms to their max muscular potential without being hindered by restrictive joints.

  • Comment removed

  • siu lim tao en chum kiu is easy

    But bil jee is difficult

  • The part where he was blowing out the candle, you should never fully hyper extend the elbows like he did in the video. This is extremely bad for the elbow. That is a big no-no. Other than that, I like his form. Looks like he knows his stuff.

  • you can extend them to the fullest just as long as there is no tension.tension is a big no no try it see for yourself

  • you can hardley see him blow at the same time he palm strikes lol

  • I have this DVD it is awesome!!!

I think I got it at Chinese outlet really cheap too.

  • Where'd you get it? Does it have English subtitles?

  • im interested in this dvd too

could you plz give some info?

  • I got my copy at the Chinese Outlet Online.

    coohk(.)com

But I do not believe they have any copies left.

But you can get it for a little bit more money at turtlepress(.)com

This video has Mai Yaoming in it and is worth every cent!!!

He knows Wing Chun very well.

It is all in Chinese with English subtitles but it really does not matter, because he gets his point across very well.

I hope you get it and enjoy it. I go over my copy all the time!

  • This is the third set in the Wing Chun form ( Bil Jee).

There are three hand and feet forms (Siu Lim Tao/ Chum Kiu and Bil Jee) with two weapon forms (Butterfly Swords and Staff).

Plus one dummy form. That you preform on the dummy of course. LOL!

Probably more info. then you needed. But just to be on the safe side.

  • This bloke came to my birthday party, fucking ruined it when my cake came out.

  • Haha that was funny shit.

  • this IS very difficult to do, especially at this distance. it requires relaxation, directness and practice!

  • ew, his arm clicks when he palm strikes the candle

  • He is blowing when he strikes that is a given... but he is not blowing at the candle, listen to the sound of his strikes... his is brilliant a master of Wing Chun indeed

  • them candles are a hoot to do ;)

  • Have anyone tried to do this? Is it hard to do it?

  • I have and yes it is difficult to master. You must relax first and foremost.

I teach alot of these concepts to my chapter of the Guardian Angels.

    Be water, my friend.

  • I did it, I train wing chun, so I just turned the upper body, and i used the elbow to fire the punch so i got a whip..

  • Without training, I've been able to do the candle trick, the palm kind of flaps forward and fans the candles off. But of course, we all know the candle is not to show how good you are, it's just for emphasis.

  • Youre absolutely right about looks not effective in THIS video, because nobody who doesnt know wing chun or other lineages of this kungfu style can SEE the effectiveness of this version of the 3d form when performed on video or in real live. You actually have to experience this at first hand from a great teacher like mine(Sifu Benno Westra) and his sifu Wan Kam Leung. Try to get some training in Wing Chun in your neighbourhood and mayby youre opinon will change. Kind regards from the Netherlands

  • maekelon8,

congratulatn to you, when I see that your sifu learnt from sifuWanKamLeung.

you are all lukcy guys having this sifu teaching you the perfect,tradition,un-diluted kung-fu.

(remarks:I never meet WanKamLeung, but I can judge his superb position just thru internet)

  • I met WongShunLeung when I was young, but never spar!!!

So how great WSL was, you can be sure of WSL's top skill by seeing his disciples

    performing WC.

They're sifu Gary Lam & sifu WanKamLeung!!

    Salute to you WSL!!

  • good form. very nice my friend !

  • extraordinary! Even without understanding the dialog!

  • This guy is a great Sifu, With all respekt to this man, he's done this almost all he's life. He knows what he is doing and he is good at it. Bak mei and Wing chun probebly the most dangerous Close combat martial art ever.

  • Yeah but probably using Fa-li he must exhale like everyone in the world.I don't know the truth,by the way.

  • What this guy said in the end ? ....

  • bil gee has the power from the sul nim tao and chum kiu both of witch ya dont bob ub and down

  • my last comment was a drunken comment no disrespect to what ya trying to do its just that it looks diferant where as it may be what is felt that is more important ay..

  • pissdchris is my fu chanel plz deleate my comments as they are a rezault of lots of drinking!

I gess kung fu is a habbit

that way you do it naturaly with out thinking

when doing the forms it can be easy to disregard the movement because of the way it looks but it is the idea behind the movement that counts i just dont reckon its good to bob up and down thats all..

  • Alot of wing chun is to soft, even when they perform either of there forms,i like this method because if you cant throw your strenth [power emmision/fa ging ] like this guy then your not practicing for self protection/defence more for health and well being,my forms are different but the speed and strenth is the same, regards

  • I think this Sifu is from Mainland China, probably from Fushan Jingwu Acadamy, which is sanctioned by the Govt, so sno fakes. There are many branches in Wing Chun. I think his is Pan Nam, so is a little different from Yip Man lineage. I would be very hesitant to condem other schools as fake unless I know all his lineage. I think this come out of a DVD with full description of the performer's credentials.

  • This is not Pan Nam. It's something else. If anyone Knows the lineage please post some info.

  • I loved how he put the candles out at the end.

  • OH MY GOD!!!!Whata shit!!! WING TSUN KUEN - This is a real Biu Tze!!!

  • Great vid. Always intersting and informative to see other styles' take on Bil Gi.

  • haha this guy is the same linage as me. I wonder where this is located. anybody knows? anyway this is the best! but this guy's style has a few showy stuff to it:)

  • the drums are very catchy.

  • Do you guys have nothing better to do than criticize someone who could probably kick all of your asses?

  • @narayanr speed+power+accuracy ! ev 1 seems to be able to criticize, but few can critique !

  • @narayanr u are a legend....

  • @narayanr Old comment is super old, but yes. It's the internet, they feel safe because of that.

  • woah, i did that when i was a kid. its actually never works haha

  • thats cos u probally forgot the chi gung, its not magic. it takes effort and dedication.

  • then I can only feel sorry for your retardation because it actually works for me :)

  • IMO the actions performed have a lack of detail, the action is just thrown out there. I also find the connection of hands and body lacking....if this is intentional he has a different use with the actions than i do.

  • Unfortunately this Thrusting fingers form is so far from the real one its laughable

  • "real one" of what?

  • So many fakes, so much money to be made. The principles inherent in the Wing Chun system make this attempted copy almost laughable. There is so much wrong with this copy it's hard to know where to start. Trace the lineage, watch some Si-Gung Tsui Seung Tsin video and work it out for yourself.

  • This old man took your money??

  • awsome, i hear thats from the triceps, another vid said that biceps actually take power from your punches, is this true?

  • Nice! ;-)

  • nice video. thanks
