  • Very nice...

  • go Northern Long Fist!!!

  • Cool

  • mmmm wait a sec... i've a question, Chang Quan means "Long fist" or "northern fist"?????

  • it means long fist

  • long fist

  • ITS taizu changquan

  • errr if its northern fist... yd u name it chang quan? very different

  • Taizu Changquan is the correct name. Taizu was the first emperor of the Song Dynasty, there are mentions of a 32 posture changquan form that comes from that time.

sure there can be some confusion with generic names such as "northern" or "changquan". but not all northern or changquan styles are long and extended styles like chaquan, hongquan or huaquan.

  • no. it´s definitely taizu chang quan

  • Impressive =) Fascinating =) Love the way he moves there :)

  • looks like hong quan, or red cannon fist to me. could be wrong. definitely not "changquan" b/c it has very few hook hands and palm movements or long extended punches with big blocks. nice form tho!

  • This is Taizu Changquan, one of the more traditional sets of Shaolin.
