Lassus in German! I had not heard this before. Is this a translation from the French? It sounds like one of Ronsard's poems to Cassandra. I think Ronsard would have liked the interpretation.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, wie kultiviert gesungen! So schön! Kompliment! Wunderbar! Darf man fragen, ob ihr euch aus einem Knabenchor herauskristallisiert habt? - Weiter so! :)
Eines der schönsten liebeslieder der Renaissance, was vor allem aber durch die so hervorragende Interpreataion, (wozu auch die Mimik zählt)zu einem wahren Hochgenuss führt.
Does anyone know where I could get my hands on some sheet music for this song?

This song is wonderful!
Could someone write the lyrics in german?
filipedfs 3 years ago
Ich liebe dich mein's Lebens Zier.
In steter Treu ergeben dir.
Bis zu des Herzens letztem Schlag.
Was auch der Neider flüstern mag.
Ich liebe dich mein's Lebens Zier.

Grosse Klasse! Richtig subtil und feinfühlig in der doch selbstlosen Empfindung! Sehr gelungen wahrlich! Bravo!!! Herzlichen Dank.

The original lyrics:
Je l'aime bien et l'aimerai,
En ce propos suis et serai,
Et resterai toute mavie'Et
quoi qu'on m'en die par envie'Et
quoi qu'on m'en die par envie,
Je l'aime bien et l'aimerai.

Lassus has been living and working in Munich for many years !
He wrote many pieces upon german texts
(for instance "Frolich zu sein")

Danke. Nein wir waren nicht zusammen im Knabenchor. Wir haben alle Gesang studiert und uns gesucht und gefunden.

Wie schön, dass ihr euch so gefunden habt! - Bleibt zusammen! - Es muss menschlich UND fachlich stimmen! - Meist stimmt nur ein Faktor.
So meine Erfahrung!
