I really don't think this video should be titled "Ron Paul Destroys Michael Moore" because he doesn't destroy him, he actually agrees with him. Ron Paul and Michael Moore dislike the same exact issues, they just have a different view of how to go about fixing them.
It just might be one of the most valuable historical accounts in recorded history. It is uploaded on my channel. A never before released wtc attack video that is a continuous running account. The only such video account that exists. It is a time capsule; it is the answer to the question: what would it have been like to watch that all unfold right before my eyes.. without the media.. just to watch it all from beginning to the end.. in a non-production way. Only one 'Tuesday Morning in September'
I'm not sure why the "quality of care" would go down. Everything to do with the government is pretty top notch, my father leases out a building to a government-backed income clinic, and the clinic is top notch in both doctors and equipment. It's just that the government (specifically TennCare) doesn't cover my disability and condition. Just to put this in perspective, my condition requires a $30,000+ surgery. Can't realistically pay that without direct help in some sort of way.
I have a disease that isn't covered by any government funded OR private healthcare insurance companies, and I can't walk up to the hospital, get cured, and "pay it later". I can't take out a loan because my disease has prevented me from holding jobs, which also means I don't have the money to pay it out of pocket. There are no religious hospitals that provide free treatment for my condition. According to Ron Paul, what am I to do? Michael Moore however would tax the rich and get me a doctor.
What makes you think that the government would get you a doctor? If government is in charge you have rationing care. The quality care goes down. And if your disease is really bad where even if you get care you would still be disabled then the government would give you the care because it can't afford it and to them it would be a waste of medical supplies that would be low.
capitalism doesn't work. simple. every time capitalism is on a verge of dieing communism is brought to save it (e.g. with bail outs with public money).
but what i want to know is when are we finally going to start KILLING THE BANKERS??
King helps support poor people with heart issues, so I don't think he agrees with Paul on this one. I really don't understand Paul in the segment. What was his answer, if a poor person has a heart attack?
Not only just Ron Paul, but media sees the word "Republican" and immediately attacks them. I may not agree with Ron on all issuse, but i have to praise him for getting a lot of people behind the Republican cause.
Nobody is saying socialized medicine is perfect. But the efforts of social democacy were so that nobody should be left in the shit, while some of us have it all. Reducing the gap between rich and poor has been one of the biggest concerns of my country, because the farther the gap the more crime, illiteracy and idiocy develops. I don't want a system were the gov is controlling everything, of course not, but I don't want a system where people who are rich determine who lives and who dies either.
@SnugglePuma Not so I no people that are idle class that have health insurance that they get the best treatment you Europeans could only dream about iv been to both systems I know private is much better no lines no waiting to see a doctore everything is nicer even the buildings the hospitals are in
"No one ever gets turned away" this is an incredible insult to Americans. You WILL get turned away when you need cancer treatment or surgery. I don't agree with Ron Paul at all. I got excited 4 years ago when he lectured the GOP on the causes of terrorism, but his domestic agenda is the same as that of a 3rd world country :P
He babbles on and on, never saying anything particularly impressive. I seriously just can't understand how any intelligent person could support this buffoon. =/
@Faerlon123 funny because if that was tge case your leaders would. use socialized Medicare but the dont lol they go to private hospitals run by corporations nobody going to help you live longer unless u pay them to lol just like anything else u want better car better anything u have to pay more for it
@romanljc You are referring to a tiny handful of super wealthy people who are looking to pay a fortune for extremely personalized treatment that YOU would never get in a corporate health care system...
Even if i'm born in a country with socialized medicine, so I may have a biased point of view, I could never agree with a free market handling the healthcare industry any better. I mean, we all know that a corporation is interested in profit, it's a epic failure in reasoning to say that a corporation would do a better job. A doctor who does a good job, makes less money, since he uses more resources. A doctor who does a bad job uses less, thus gains more profit. Health and profit is an oxymoron.
@Faerlon123 Thank you! You think this would be as obvious as the sky, but Americans are a subconsciously self-hating group... :( They would vote for longer hours and lower pay if they were given the chance...
the title is misleading. Ron Paul is an honest man who believes in what he says but the guy is a dinosaur. He uses the word socialism as something evil. He doesn't even respond to Moore's statements about wealth distribution but rants on about the "free market" At least they agree on staying out of wars is a good idea. Paul has some great ideas about drugs and not getting into war but come on folks. We've heard it all before a million times. Very dangerous man if he would get any real power.
The World Health Organisation reports US healthcare to be trailing behind the EU. They say people in the US pay more and receive less. This is based on analysis and involves people from the United States in the process.
It might not be what you want to hear but its fact.
You are wrong about technology in the EU, its as good as you can get.
I love America but healthcare is not something you do well.
Government aid for urgent medical care isn't a crazy concept to me. I'm opposed to how this country pays out for unemployment and food stamps etc. but medical care is a whole different matter. Someone I knew was on unemployment and food stamps for over a year because they 'couldn't find work' but that was work in their field. They could have had a job the same day somewhere 'lesser' but why when the government would pay them to play CoD? The system isn't fucked up, it's perfect for burying us
How can you destroy someone who is not even present to counter the counter party's viewpoint. Typical Ron Paul worshipers. Yes i said Worshipers not voters. There is a huge difference.
Michael moore maybe one of the 1% but he is absolutely correct, healtinsurance is very important. And socialism works, very good actually a nation can't just be a 100% capitalistic. Ron Paul just says that because he probably has some shares in a company and he doesn't want to lose money. America is a sh*tty country.
Look at the top contributors to Mitt Romney: Goldman Sachs $367,200 Credit Suisse Group $203,750 Morgan Stanley $199,800 HIG Capital $186,500 Barclays $157,750 Kirkland & Ellis $132,100 Bank of America $126,500 PriceWaterhouseCoopers $118,250 EMC Corp $117,300 JPMorgan Chase & Co $112,250 The Villages $97,500 Vivint Inc $80,750 Marriott International $79,837 Sullivan & Cromwell $79,250 Bain Capital $74,500 UBS AG $73,750 Wells Fargo $61,500 Blackstone Group $59,800 Citigroup Inc $57,050
another thing is education the majority of americans use public education its socialized education, the smart children and some dumb republican rednecks use it and then grown up,corporations hire these socialized education and united states grows from it. corporations dont need to be taxed less. republicans voting for ron paul should know paul is a joke, he is a like a hippie that stands for nothing . no real resolution. rich get richer, poor get poorer in his 1850s western united states
ron paul is insane in that lament he says socialism doesnt work but police, firemen, unemployment after paying american taxes all your lives, is saying its wrong he wants a 1800s idea of pay now or die... he is a rich man that looks down to average americans and takes the word freedom to literal.... american laws are founded on socialist ideas and it has helped united states for decades... he is an insane tea gagger. he cant help this country.
i think the title is wrong he isnt destroying michael moore, he is disagreeing with some of his beliefs and agreeing with others and they are both very oppinionated men so you cant say which one is right and which one is wrong because its too early to tell.
I have always respected what Michael Moore is trying to do, but I am surprised he doesn't know the difference between capitalism and corporatism is by now. Unless in my research I am really missing some underlying information about Ron Paul, it doesn't really make sense to me why people like Moore wouldn't be on his side. It seems to me they both have the same goals, only separated by a different syntax for expressing the thoughts.
"socialism doesnt work" Thats not correct. It can not work in the US simply because their citizen dont trust their government, and because over 50 % of the people are way to selfish.
@MathiasMoeller I'm selfish because I work for a living and I don't want to give away my hard earned money? I'm selfish because I also don't think a paperboy should be paid as much as a doctor, or vis versa. Your blind to the truth.
@SwiftNightRunner I do agree with you should keep most of the money you earn, and that a doctor should be paid more. But you americans let people die on the streets! Some people are not able to work, and you do nothing about it! THATS SELFISHNESS!
A BOOK One World Order Socialist Dictatorship.Quote:- "We will build the New World Order piece by piece right under their noses"."The house of the New World Order will have to be built from the bottom up.An end run around sovereignty, eroding it, will accomplish much more than the old fashioned frontal attack." I am all for libertarianism , although i find it kinda scary sometimes. I suppose it would be nice to see how the ron paul experiment goes on american guinea pigs!
@legoman762005 If enough Americans wake up and vote for Ron Paul in the primaries and then again in the election in November, I think those same voters should be able to keep the message of liberty going and clean up Congress the next time those people are up for re-election.
@MrDickWarrior How would you know? You just admitted you don't live here. The only thing you have to base your assumption on is the media. There are many selfless people here, just as there are selfish people. It's like that all over the world. Keep using America as a scapegoat for selfishness and greed in the world, how about you look up which country gives the most money to charity and foreign aid? USA! USA!
I agree the US can be generous but don’t you think those at home are priority? If you are poor in America you have next to nothing. Government needs you to pay tax but when you need them where are they? They didn’t show up during Hurricane Katrina very quickly. They are happy to leave 9-11 rescuers without adequate healthcare. I don’t wish to criticise the US but when someone says nobody has a right to services like hospitals I cannot relate to them. I just can’t.
@MrDickWarrior Is it a selfish society because people think they have a right to health care, or is it a selfish society because we don't provide health care? I'm not sure what you mean.
But thats because you are generous, you are so generous that you are willing to use the state to take the money of people you've never met to help other people you've never met.
I think it’s a cultural difference between Americans and people from Europe and Australia. I'm not knocking the way you think, I just don’t relate to it. If a member of my community is sick, I want to help them. If that involves paying more tax then so be it. I say it because the person needing help one day might be me, my children, family or friends.
@MrDickWarrior I agree with you...in a perfect world, health care could be provided for everyone. Our country(US), however, simply cannot afford it. How could we possibly offer something we cannot afford? We also can't afford policing the world. We need to stop living above our means. Our government as well as ourselves.
@MrDickWarrior want to provide some links? I have never met anyone who did not like our healthcare system.... please stay in Europe and worry about your own crappy system. People from all over the world come to the USA for complicated treatments, because the research in the USA is the best... that is a fact.
@BeepimajeepBeep We love our health systems here, and certainly I intend to stay along with the many Americans here. Of course America has good healthcare, the issue is that many cannot access it without getting into financial difficulty. France has the best healthcare system in the world.
You can check on the WHO website if you wish to see for yourself.
The US is also a western nation and is in no better position financially than those with universal healthcare. It’s funny how you follow me around on different YouTube debates, I should point out however that I have a partner.
I'm a big admirer of the US, I just don’t think they look after the average person on the street as much as the shareholder in the boardroom
@MrDickWarrior Thought you might pick up on that... I saw you on this one originally, checked your channel to see if you were British too and saw an interesting post you left about independence. Anyway, back to this; It's also true that despite healthcare not being state funded in America, the administration (and other) costs equate to more per person than the NHS. I see where you're coming from. Perhaps you meant 'selfish system' rather than 'selfish society'. I would say flawed system
@scamwa They’re not administration costs. In America healthcare is dictated by health insurance companies paying out. If they payout they are making a loss. That’s the problem when you balance profit with health; there is a conflict of interest.
@MrDickWarrior youre so unselfish you help in supporting the bbc. if we only had such generosity!
people in the us are generous and unselfish. just because someone can see a doctor on your dime does not make you morally superior. we do not want to fall under the bureaucracy of government healthcare. it runs fine in other countries because you people are taxed for every single thing. we like to keep the money we earn and not have it used to fund wasteful and disastrous policies.
@JewsInUranus Actually we only pay toward the BBC if we purchase a TV license.
I never said at any point I am morally superior. I’m just expressing my opinion which I thought was promoted in the US. The tax rate for the average person in my country is around 20%. Is that so high? The WHO reports Americans as paying more than Europeans whilst receiving less.
I’m not attacking American policy, I love America. I just don’t think people should profit from vulnerability.
@MrDickWarrior what does the WHO look for when gathering statistics. of course it will rank lower if it were to consider state sponsored health care. now, i dont agree with the american system currently. theres a crap load of regulations that leave millions of americans without treatable care. its disgusting, but how is adding more bureaucracy going to help?
you have the right to your beliefs. im not advocating removing your right to an opinion. i dont want to silence you.
I love how Larry King and Ron Paul are just two years apart but Paul is so sharp and intelligent and with-it, and then you look at Larry King with his suspenders and delayed reactions.
Ron Paul believes everyone will do their job without a big government. That is true, but the problem is big government is really profitable for 1% and make a country go bankrupt is much more.
Economics is same as war, that is rob the fools wealth.
He is BY FAR the best, most honest and most principled candidate out there - I am appalled to see that American voters STILL don't give him their full support to become the president of the US - too bad the media and other cabals continue to boycott him; simply because he TELLS THE TRUTH!
@frysdog93 then you're a moron. He's oversimplifying things. Also a new president being picked won't solve the nations problems overnight especially when congress is so corrupt.
@frysdog93 Actually 'if you're not an American, I think should also be able to vote because they cause all this misery that's affecting other countries aswell.
@marvincontendo Ron Paul doesn't give a shit about abortion! He's going to leave it up to the states anyway, which means IT DOESN'T MATTER! and why the fuck is evolution relevant!? Who gives a shit about your evolution...Just please promote Ron Paul on his other issues, the issues you like him on! For example, remove drug laws which create massive amount of non violent prisoners!
@marvincontendo No and no. Paul said he was personally against abortion but he believes that states should have the right to decide. So chances are that that if you lived in a pro-choice state it would stay that way. Also, where did you get the anti-evolution fact? that is blatantly wrong
@marvincontendo Those may or may not be his personal views but he values his adherence to the Constitution and respect for states rights before his own beliefs!
I haven't voted for a President of the US for over 15 years. I will not vote until someone runs who promises to STOP behaviors of Imperialiasm and hostility towards the poor and the sick and immigrants.
Ron Paul is living in denial of those who are dying because they are NOT being taken care of. He doesn't know better. He is living in great ignorance. I think he lives without the knowledge that most people on the planet work very hard and are not being cared for. He wouldn't know because he has never been poor. He makes the assumption that a person is poor because he doesn't work. I believe in freedom. The US was built on the free market of slavery. We have never known freedom.
@wilatemodel When the United States of America was formed, the kidnapping and enslaving of Africans was legal and the Fed didn't exist. On December 23, 1913, the Federal Reserve Act, also known as the Glass-Owen Bill, was passed. The Republican controlled Senate rammed the bill through when many members of the US Congress were home for the holiday. The President, Dr. Thomas Woodrow Wilson, signed it into law one hour after being passed by the Congress.
To review the past 4 years "[Obama] has: Slaughtered civilians… continuously in numerous nations with drones, cluster bombs and other forms of attack, Institutionalized the power of Presidents — in secret and with no checks — to target American citizens for assassination-by-CIA, far from any battlefield, Waged an unprecedented war against whistleblowers, Established the power of Presidents to wage war even in the face of a Congressional vote against it
Has entrenched indefinite detention, military commissions, and the state secret privilege as a weapon to immunize political leaders from the rule of law.
Shielded Bush era criminals from every last form of accountability.
Vigorously prosecuted the cruel and supremely racist War on Drugs, including those parts he vowed during the campaign to relinquish — a war which devastates minority communities and converts into felons huge numbers of minority youth
Empowered thieving bankers through the Wall Street bailout, Fed secrecy, efforts to shield mortgage defrauders from prosecution, and the appointment of an endless roster of former Goldman, Sachs executives and lobbyists. Brought the nation to a full-on Cold War and a covert hot war with Iran, on the brink of far greater hostilities. Made the U.S. as subservient as ever to the destructive agenda of the right-wing Israeli government.
His support for some of the Arab world’s most repressive regimes is as strong as ever.” America’s National Security State, its Surveillance State, and its posture of endless war is more robust than ever before. Created what The Washington Post just dubbed “a vast drone/killing operation,” all behind an impenetrable wall of secrecy and without a shred of oversight.
Built up vast debt and deficits in the name of militarism that create the pretext for the “austerity” measures which the Washington class (including Obama) is plotting to impose on America’s middle and lower classes.”
The parallel reality — the undeniable fact — is that all of these listed heinous views and actions from Barack Obama have been vehemently opposed and condemned by Ron Paul: and among the major GOP candidates, only by Ron Paul.
Obama supporters accept the above crimes and atrocities in exchange for less severe cuts to Social Security, Medicare and other entitlement programs, the preservation of the Education and Energy Departments, more stringent environmental regulations, broader health care coverage, defense of reproductive rights for women, stronger enforcement of civil rights for America’s minorities, a President with no associations with racist views in a newsletter, and a more progressive Supreme Court.
Also, President Obama … signed the NDAA and its indefinite detention provisions into law (a law which Paul vehemently opposed); the ACLU statement — explaining that “President Obama’s action today is a blight on his legacy because he will forever be known as the president who signed indefinite detention without charge or trial into law” and “Any hope that the Obama administration would roll back the constitutional excesses of George Bush in the war on terror was extinguished today.”
@researchfiend It is true that Obama is a puppet to the elites who govern the world and he continues their atrocities. But Ron Paul is an evildoer who points to the atrocities of others in order to gain support for his just as wicked plans.
@researchfiend It is not true that only Ron Paul criticizes Obama. Ron Paul would like you to believe that. You're paying too much attention to his self-aggrandizement.
Ron Paul supporters, now is the time to act! No matter how much you do for
Ron Paul, if you don't help prevent the votes from being fixed, your hard work was in vain and he isn't going to win. Demand fair elections! To allow secret vote count is to hand the election victory to the frauds!
@CoolguyX36 "Evil" is not subjective, unless you've been confused and seduced by predators - then you become unable to know right from wrong. Of course, if you can relate to Ron Paul, you are just as much a predator as he is and you've completely lost your humanity.
I don't trust doctors who don't want to serve the poor. They are revealing who they are and, at the end of the day, they aren't the best of doctors, even if they have a reputation as being the best. Reputation is often all hype. That doesn't mean that all doctors who serve the poor are good doctors. There are many doctors who are serving the poor because they are not permitted to serve the middle class and wealthy due to their incompetence.
Ron Paul, there are many doctors who want to serve the poor and they are able to through medicaid. Why would you want to get rid of Medicaid, Ron? You are revealing who you are, Ron. Everyone should take note of this. And those of you who agree with Ron Paul on this issue are revealing themselves. Let's just hope that it is not too many that think this way.
@elizabethfaraone he wants to get rid of medicaid because he wants human beings to step up and start being responsible for themselves--which includes helping a neighbor, by choice mind you, if your neighbor is in a time of need. Basically he wants government to have less of a role in people's lives and for individuals to assume more civic responsibility UNIMPOSED--he also wishes the same for smaller local gov't such as state gov't where individuals can have more influence.
@nohopebutwhatwemake I'm tired of seeing the mentally ill living on the streets because they are unable to jump through the hoops of the three ring circus we call Social Security. Or if the are receiving the pittance that Social Security doles out, they are unable to afford housing. All social services (including public education) should be federally funded, not locally funded. Did you know that Texas refused federal funding for its homeless population?
@elizabethfaraone Basically Ron Paul is a step towards mankind growing up. It's time for mankind to stop handing over influence to government watchdogs with too much power and lobbyist interests to uphold.
We as human beings must wake up and realize WE empower government--not vice versa-- because we are too undisciplined to control our own actions, and so we accept the faulty judgements of educated but equally flawed men.
Ron is a step towards freedom and self-governance.
@nohopebutwhatwemake I disagree. Ron Paul is another step in the direction of irresponsibility. Speak for yourself when you talk about lack of discipline. I have been responsible and disciplined my entire life. I helped my father with his business and I cooked and cleaned the house, beginning at the age of 11. I continued to be responsible for myself and others and never stopped. I was never a drinker of alcohol or user of any other chemical. Can you say the same?
@elizabethfaraone by lack of discipline I meant that in general human beings are undisciplined and so need government to protect them from themselves. It is mainly because of the well known human dilemma called "a lack of scruples" that we need a government to ensure we all work harmoniously enough together to ensure a better life and continue to progress. That said government is a flawed solution as it gives men rights to rule other men. It is basically a temporary solution.
@nohopebutwhatwemake We need protection from people like Ron Paul. I want my government to protect me from the corrupt, which most politicians are. There is an alternative. We can have humanitarians as elected officials. I want a strong, good government. All the US has known is bad government that occasionally pacifies those it exploits. And Ron Paul wants to completely take that pacification away. He doesn't want good government.
@elizabethfaraone Ron paul doesn't want to take pacification away, he wants to reduce the government so the corrupt can't appropriate funds for their latest war or their latest venture for oil which would stop humanitarians from serving their own interests for peace. Do you really think giving up your money to gov't empowers you or those who would do good? It doesn't. Everything is on gov't terms and by their rules which often only serve to bail out wallstreet or lobbyists.
@nohopebutwhatwemake Ron Paul wants to eliminate Social Security, Medicaid and other programs that are "socialist" in nature. I want socialist programs. I like sharing and have always shared. I will not exploit others. I will do no harm to others. Ron Paul has always harmed others.
@elizabethfaraone Ron Paul has always harmed others? You're kidding right?
I'm sorry but for every bright comment you make you have an equally ignorant one right after it. You seem to live in some bizarro world where everything socialist and democrat is good and everything else is bad. You mentioned OSHA which i can personally attest to being a joke. Everytime they came through my job it was a quick 1 hour tour where our company was on its best behavior until they left. Joke.

BTandKM111 1 month ago
the title is misleading.

It might not be what you want to hear but its fact.

Ron paul is very correct in the sense of morality in his ideas about war and government.
Apart from in this case,
because Micheal Moore took a very strong side with well being of humans and morality over the idea of having healthcare marketed.
And I don't understand how a religious person cannot believe in the idea of socialist healthcare, as it helps the healing of a human being.

Unless in my research I am really missing some underlying information about Ron Paul, it doesn't really make sense to me why people like Moore wouldn't be on his side. I see where you're coming from. Perhaps you meant 'selfish system' rather than 'selfish society'. I would say flawed system
scamwa 1 month ago

JewsInUranus 1 month ago
@JewsInUranus Actually we only pay toward the BBC if we purchase a TV license.
I never said at any point I am morally superior. I’m just expressing my opinion which I thought was promoted in the US. The tax rate for the average person in my country is around 20%. Is that so high? The WHO reports Americans as paying more than Europeans whilst receiving less.
I’m not attacking American policy, I love America. I just don’t think people should profit from vulnerability.
MrDickWarrior 1 month ago
@MrDickWarrior what does the WHO look for when gathering statistics. of course it will rank lower if it were to consider state sponsored health care. now, i dont agree with the american system currently. theres a crap load of regulations that leave millions of americans without treatable care. its disgusting, but how is adding more bureaucracy going to help?

I don't trust doctors who don't want to serve the poor. They are revealing who they are and, at the end of the day, they aren't the best of doctors, even if they have a reputation as being the best. Reputation is often all hype. That doesn't mean that all doctors who serve the poor are good doctors. There are many doctors who are serving the poor because they are not permitted to serve the middle class and wealthy due to their incompetence.
elizabethfaraone 2 months ago
Ron Paul, there are many doctors who want to serve the poor and they are able to through medicaid. Why would you want to get rid of Medicaid, Ron? You are revealing who you are, Ron. Everyone should take note of this. And those of you who agree with Ron Paul on this issue are revealing themselves. Let's just hope that it is not too many that think this way.
elizabethfaraone 2 months ago

Did you know that Texas refused federal funding for its homeless population?
elizabethfaraone 2 months ago
@elizabethfaraone Basically Ron Paul is a step towards mankind growing up. It's time for mankind to stop handing over influence to government watchdogs with too much power and lobbyist interests to uphold.
We as human beings must wake up and realize WE empower government--not vice versa-- because we are too undisciplined to control our own actions, and so we accept the faulty judgements of educated but equally flawed men.
Ron is a step towards freedom and self-governance.
nohopebutwhatwemake 2 months ago

Joke.
