I could be wrong but as far as I recall Dug's earthquake move was the very first in a vs. fighting game.

I don't remember any other fighter with that, except MKII Jax a while after.

I remember having this on my Amiga 600 in the Mid 90's. This game is the shit!

I had the PC version of that...I was surprised to see that graphics and gameplay are virtually identical to the Amiga (perhaps a bit better, with 256 colors, though I don't know if there were any differences between the PC VGA and Amiga AGA version). The music is entirely different though...no kick-ass digitized house music for the PC version, but it had an oriignal Adlib soundtrack which is easily one of the best of its kind, including FM speech synthesis, and IMO the stage music was better.

It isnt, this is BodyBlows AGA, Ultimate is more like a "Best Of" - with all chars and backgrounds.

Good job Buddy, however this is definitely an upgrade to my original version. On the original, the T17 could take to much damage he was impossible to beat.

Still the game was very popular on the German-Speaking market, as the shout Loray does when firing his main weapon sounds like "Hühnerficker !" (Chicken fucker) so we all loved it ;-))

Typical Streetfighter II clone, quite common in it's day! It fell short in the gameplay stakes for me, just too sluggish but for an Amiga title it was quite an achievment! Team 17 were quite notorious for producing polished products! Great memories though!

Thsi game was ok, it came on 4 disks?

But it wasnt scripted to recognise multiple disk drives (I had 3) so you had to change the disk after each fight!!! So lame!

I had the demo of the OCS/ECS version. It was two-player only and included Nik and Ninja. My friends and I played that demo to death. We loved it and were convinced that the full game was going to be great. Then the game came out and somehow it never seemed to be as good as the demo. I'm not sure why, but we still liked the demo, but the game itself just didn't have the same spark.

There was a major fault in the original Body Blows on the A500. I got to Max and then when he changed to the robot it just kept freezing! I returned it several times for new copies and it never worked. Did any on else ever get this?
