It's odd to me how some posters are afraid the reporter will somehow infect or mishandle the squirrels. Squirrels are pretty friggin' resilient unlike human infants so don't worry. Also no animal is going to eat them because of human touch. Lastly, to those who think she should spay. As long as she is a responsible owner, the issue does not lie with her. It lies with those who don't or can't find homes or provide care for kittens bred by cats that they own. Just my opinion though....

Are you aware that the kill shelters across America are killing MILLIONS of healthy cats and dogs each year, costing taxpayers BILLIONS?! PLEASE GET HER SPAYED. Anyone who doesn't SPAY or NEUTER their pets are the reason we have this pet overpopulation epidemic. There are pregnant nursing mothers at rescue orgs who could have also nursed these squirells. This is how we should be. While animals help each other when they're in need, we should help one another, too. We humans are the only creatures on this Earth who can do such selfish things. Okay so i know that youre probably upset because people are yelling at you to spay your cat and i understand how you dont want to mayb bcuz of the money issues and of course its always adorbale when you have kittens around.I understand this because i used to have a female cat who alwsays had babies but now i have finally come to my senses and realized that MILLIONS of kittens each year die because of their owners not spaying them.If you love cats so much than do it please!!

This is not unusual. Good mother cats are spectacular mothers. Not all of them are good mothers, but the best will adopt anything from rats to puppies. I'm not sure why they call this unusual when it happens all the time.

If the owner finds good homes for all those kittens (or keeps them herself, as long as she takes good care of them either way) the owner has every right to allow her cat to have as many kittens as you want. Back off, people. I had a cat who had 8 litters, and we found good homes for every single one of those kittens. Therefore, I don't have to listen to anyone who whines that I need to spay my cat. MY cat, MY decision.

If you found "good" homes for eight litters (which I doubt) then you were taking homes that could have been given to some of those millions instead. As long as ONE cat is put to sleep for lack of a home, no one should be adding more to the problem. Your rights end where the SOCIETAL problem begins- it's not all about you. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

Stop your whining; we found a home for all of them. OR would you rather I just give them to a shelter so that they can get put to sleep? Cute video but trust me spying her would be best. I have a whole load of female cats roaming around my neighborhood & they always end up layin their kitten under my house & never returning to get them or care for them. So I have a zoo now but I'd rather deal with 15 cats knowing their safe then givng them to the pound knowing there is a chance no one will adopted them :( & they have to be put down. But thank god all my kittys are fixed :) but still the video is oh so very sweet
