Can someone give me a translation of what Tony is saying in the cab at the very beginning? I know he said he picked up Kojak at one point, but I couldn't follow after that. He was telling the story about someone stiffing him on a 20 p tip.
Symon 10/10, John 1/10, Charles 1/10, Andrew 2/10, Suzy 2/10, Jackie 4/10, Sue 4/10, Lynn 3/10, Tony 7/10, Paul 8/10, Nick 6/10, Peter 8/10, Neil 9/10 & Bruce 8/10
p.s for anyone that is interested: Peter dropped out of the series after 28 Up, when he lost his job as a teacher following a tabloid press campaign against him after he criticised the government of Margaret Thatcher in his interview.
FUCK YOU THATCHER YOU RIGHT WING SCUMBAG CUNT!!!!!!!!!!
That John is a bit over the top. The posh children say that they had to work hard, but they also had private tutors as well. Most children have to learn without the help anyone. I had to pay for my own undergrad, grad, and post-grad education.
@Milomaine : Neil is fascinating! I haven't seen the rest, but at 28, do you think Neil needed help plain and simple, or are there ways in which he should have been envied by the others?
@Milomaine I feel so much empathy for Neil ......I just want to know that he has has had ''A HAPPY EVERY AFTER '' ..........His words are heart rendering ...... He is not alone ...''Kind words '' are indeed the best medicine ......This man is so CLEVER and profound .....
I relate to this child more than any of the others ....
Tony isn't going to be a very good cab driver if he doesn't hold on to the wheel...
