  • Don't know much about growing potatoes,but seems you have done your homework.I'm going to start on potatoes this year,and give it a try...Good Luck,God Bless..

  • @DisturbedPrepper Good luck with your potatoes! They are pretty simple to grow, so you shouldn't have too many problems.

  • We put them in right after cutting...on the advice of one of our Mennonite neighbours...when I asked him about drying them, he said they didn't bother...just cut 'em and plant 'em. We had a pretty good yield from them (red variety) for the last 2 years using that technique.

  • @inkendra From what I know, you don't have to let them heal and can put them straight in the ground. I am sure some people do it that way every time and have a good yield. I did it because I had the time and the space to have them dry. It seemed to work pretty good.
