@DisturbedPrepper Good luck with your potatoes! They are pretty simple to grow, so you shouldn't have too many problems.

We put them in right after cutting...on the advice of one of our Mennonite neighbours...when I asked him about drying them, he said they didn't bother...just cut 'em and plant 'em. We had a pretty good yield from them (red variety) for the last 2 years using that technique.

@inkendra From what I know, you don't have to let them heal and can put them straight in the ground. I am sure some people do it that way every time and have a good yield. I did it because I had the time and the space to have them dry. It seemed to work pretty good.
