I like this bit, but unless my vision is skewed, I think that the Catherine looking into the mirror when she says "looking forward to your speech" is a robotic head, because I noticed extremely minimal movement in the face, and any movements that happened were very robot-like.

What debate? I am talking about was is and the characters of Grissom, Sara and Catherine. GCR was never, ever there. Grissom couldn't even trust Catherine not to stab him in the back for her own gain. William Petersen and Jorja Fox worked all the way through the series to make it about Grissom and Sara. From Sara's arrival in LV to Grissom's departure to br with her. He never, ever touched anyone like her touched Sara, he never broken Catherine's heart either. .

Oh brother. I can plainly see that you're a devote GSR fan. I am not. So quit trying to change my opinions. Honestly, what is it about GSR-shippers and their incessent need to shove GSR evidence infront of non-gsr shippers at every turn? I acknowledge that GSR was canon. I didn't like it, but I lived with it. I don't need reminding. And FYI, there were many ample hints of grillows throughout the show. Even many GSR shippers realized and acknowledged that fact.

Actually the reason I like the GSR is because Bill and Jorja make CSI watchable because they can act and between them they created their own world within the series only they knew about. It was great acting, with complicated work. Billy and Jorja clearly worked together to bring out the relationship and for the story to finish as it did. Jorja gave Billy the reason to leave. It made the very bad dialogue in CSI forgiveable. Without Jorja I would never have watched CSI.

I don't care what Grillows fans have "suffered". I am not a revisionist. Catherine has never understood Gilbert, he cared about her and flirted but it was never deep, that is why he flirted it meant nothing. With Sara who he loved he was shy and discret. Marg isn't a compelling enough actress to make it work, Jorja is gold. Any closeness he had with Catherine was lost when she and Ecklie tried to fire Sara and when she was exposed as a back-stabber. They were never that close again.

Sara is grissom's exact person, why would you want to be with some one to be exactly like you ? Catherine is a challenge for him and that is what made their chemistry so great , why the producers decided on Jorja i dont know but to me it seemed as if they made Gil just give up and take what ever he could get . Marg Helgenberger is a GREAT actress and has done many more works than Jorja Fox and has won many more awards , that alone in its self should tell you whom is the better among the two. :)
