it was not made to hunt with. the gun does what it was made to do very well, put alot of lead in a large space in a short range like from your drivers side seat to your passenger window.
Go hide outback while people with weapons take ALL of your hard worked for supplies and then you will starve. All of your stuff is useless without the means and the will to protect it
You can kill a deer with a 410 and I know people who have. If you can kill a deer with one, you can kill a person with one. You get hit in the chest by buckshot or PDX1 ammo from that thing, you are DONE.
I'm liking your no bullshit method of doing this review but i do have to flag you on the idea of a "NO MAINTENANCE GUN" all guns need to be taken care of just like a car needs its oil changed, or your survival knife/ax needs to be resharpened. So my message to everybody out there is that there is no such thing as a "NO MAINTENANCE GUN"
@seadog1955 You are actually correct. My favorite gun is a .22 calibre pellet rifle. I shoot it more than any other gun that I own. My edc is a 9mm Beretta, but in the winter when I am wearing more clothes I have a Jack Ass rig that carries both my judge and my beretta.
Do you think it would be good just to have way back in the woods if you got between a bear and it's little ones, I've been in that situation before lucky the little ones ran around me and went to their mom but I do understand it could have been bad and I think the 45 would work against a large bear.
@s46d45m17 Revolvers are very dependable, and this one is very accurate, just like all of the other revolvers that are out there. I have no experience with bears. But I would feel secure with this weapon against people. If you are looking for a bear killing pistol there may be other comperable revolvers out there with much cheaper ammo. The .45 long colt is very limited and very expensive. Do your research.
@s46d45m17 If you're worried about bears, the Magnum 500 is made for that. Thankfully I've never been in a situation with a bear, but if I did, I'd want to have the biggest thing I could to save my hiney.
Lol I agree with you and alot of people who commented except for the dumbass that didn't like it I was really leaning towards getting this gun but not even having fun shooting is worth a head ache you proved a very good point hope to see you do some more vids
@Bigkountry211 My all time favorite gun is my Walther Talon Magnum Pellet Rifle. I can't stop shooting it. Hardly any sound at all and it will clear put a hole all the way through the head of a raccoon. I really like that durring SHTF I can go hunting or trapping without any of my neighbors knowing what I am doing. (I live in the city limits) As a self defense tool, though it is very limited.
Just about the best gun review I've seen to date. I don't need to hear about the exact weight, measurements, history of the manufacturer etc. An honest opinion from a man that's used the gun = perfect.
@CopingWithTheTimes Whenever I purchase a gun, I do a lot of research and it is absolutely unreal how many people spend all day on gun forums arguing about stopping power and penetration test, etc etc.
@preparedchipmunk I meant for that line to be funny, but it is very true that this gun is basicaly unshootable. I like the kind of guns that you see on TV that just go boom and knock things down. When you pull the trigger on this thing it is like pressing that button in the oval office.
Thanks for the honest review. Don't listen to FundamentalistKiller, you presented the review in a intelligent way and gave the reasons why you liked and did not like the gun. What more could you ask for?
@Frankpro1 I think that he clicked on this vid to hear about what happened when I shot into one of them hunks of balistic jelly. I can understand why he would be dissapointed. Them kind of resources ain't available here at SustenanceNCovering.
