I love this series of videos. I would like to use them in a college course I'm teaching and give you proper credit. Can you let me know how I can do that? Please feel free to e-mai me at raskind@tcnj.edu. Thank you.
I thought I detected the Ohio in you. I was born in Ohio, grew up in Michigan, and now live in Venice, Italy. I suspected that you knew because you are obviously extremely well read. I love the videos and will finish them tomorrow, but the "Wagner" said like Wagon sounds to me like fingernails on a chalk board. But hey, it's only used a couple of time. Ciao.
@mhender668 Oops, you better not watch any more of these videos then, I think I call him Wagner all the way through. Sorry for the discomfort! You should hear me try to pronounce Italian, it's not very pleasant!
@mhender668 I know, I actually speak German. It just bothers me when people switch back and forth with pronunciations like they do on NPR, it sounds like they're trying to be jerks. Especially with place names like Copenhagen, Cologne, Portugal, etc. I stubbornly support "Ohio-monotone." But maybe you're right, if it's someone's name it probably should be pronounced correctly. Thanks for the tip!
Great video examplification of Campbell's theory! More specifically Star Wars-related in the 1997 book "Star Wars: the Magic of Myth", that i have in French, but that people can easily find on ebay in English for instance. It's a great book that i will maybe review and post as a video response (though at the moment, i don't feel fully ready to do the same kind of HUGE and impressive work you've started yourself!) Keep up with the great work. GEEKS 'VE GOT BRAINS!!!!

Good video, but you should know that Richard Wagner is pronounced Rikard Vahgner. It took me a minute to figure out what you were talking about.
