@guitarz330 I'm an Avs fan too and I second that notion. Iginla is one of the good guys in hockey. I hated seeing Tampa win this Cup because I see it like most Canadian fans - southern hockey doesn't work and it's nothing more than Buttman's vanity project. Fire Buttman!

Phoenix ain't keeping that team once Quebec City is ready...they dodged the Winnipeg bullet but the second Quebec City has its ducks in a row that team's gonna be moving. I'd also like to see Hartford get a team, even more than Hamilton because with Hamilton you got the issue of Toronto, Buffalo, Ottawa close by.

@guitarz330 I'd love to see Portland get the NY Islanders if that franchise continues to have problems. Portland has supported the Winterhawks very well and I'd love to see them get the shot. It's far enough removed from Canucks country (Vancouver and Seattle) and yet far enough removed fom Shark territory (SJ and the Bay Area) to really create its own niche.

Honestly one of the best Stanley Cup finals ever in NHL history. Both teams were quite unexpected to get that far, and both battled SO hard for it. If there was a series where both teams were EXTREMELY worthy of the Cup these two would be those two teams in my opinion.

Most of Canada was for Calgary, but I cheered for the Lightning, mostly because of Andreychuk, but also because LeCavalier, Richards, & St-Louis were exciting players to watch throughout that playoff run....:-)
