Is it necessary for one to have played Trials and Tribulations before I play this game? I'm not getting T&T until Christmas and if this game didn't have spoilers for it, I'd consider buying this to hold me over until then (please don't list spoilers for either of the games if you respond, please).

I've only played the first two AA games so far (just got into the series over the summer), and I'm trying to be faithful with the story line of the series as much as possible (it's quite fun to unravel everything). I guess I'll have to be patient and wait until December (though the anticipation kills me at times). Thanks again for the response :)

There are no spoilers of some sort, and I don't think there are T&T references. However, there are Apollo Justice references, but only a teeny weeny, and they're quite hard to find. And you won't know them unless you play AJ, anyway. So, have fun with Ace Attorney! :D

this is exactly the same. being a prosecutor is no different than a defendant since in both games, you are proving someone guilty. miles edgeworth just leaves out the part where you prove the client's innocence first

@madmaxmadog He appears in case 3 - "The Kidnapped Turnabout". During the middle section of the case, after Lang arrests Meekins, and kicks you out of the Stadium, go all the way right to the bridge. There you'll see Phoenix with a certain two other people riding a boat in the background.

@TKHawaiianAZN It's an early version of Turn About Airlines. Kay isn't in that case in the final game, and isn't introduced until the next case. (She's not in the first case either but Edgeworth knows about her due to the strange order of the cases 4 2 1 3 5 is the the order they happen timeline wise)

I admit there are some spoilers in there but I still haven't finished T&T nor Have I finished AJ yet so far it didn't spoil much for me :) but they are TON of refrances that'll make you laugh (from AA or JFA) you should be safe but it is a spin off so the writers advoided any thing that really conceted with the main story......... it dose spoils things in JFA and AA but if you've played those you should be safe
