Hey there, I know it's bad ass to customize your ride, but I have a 2010 silver jeep srt8 and I think you should of stayed with the factory color, yeah your's stands out, but not for being appealing to look at. That's just my personnal taste too, I like matte finishes but not for the whole truck. What color was it before, I know they only come in 4 colors so just curious.

It should be a 6.1, and its not an 08 either, the 08s didnt use the black insert on the front, they used a solid bumper that was matching color. So unless you painted around the fog lights and over the chrome id say ya got lied to. Really nice blue tho, not knocking your car either just sharing a bit of info. i know for sure they used the inserts on the 06s and 07s, cause mine is an 08 and i dosnt have that insert. if i could see the inside i could tell ya for sure cause they changed the inside.

Hi Rath,

I got it dynoed it is infact a 7.0 making 495 BHP. Also it is a 2008 and yes the front & rear bumpers are painted black. The car is current gone to Standox Distributor for Paint. This time it is going to be candy Cobalt blue.

Humm i didnt know they offered the 426 from the factory, didnt think that motor would fit in the jeeps. Did you buy it used? Cause i tried to get the 6.4 in mine from the factory and they wouldnt do it. Chrystler dosnt really do COPO cars like GM (i have no idea if ford does)...Im wondering how they managed to do the paint also. With no borders of an insert to follow edgeing black and blue like that....... Cheers

Its not factory. It was overhauled by the previous owner, that is what I found out when i bought the jeep.
