All spiders are poisonous, but in 99.9% of spiders it's only dangerous to small insects, not humans. If you get bit it'll probably be no worse than an ant bite or bee sting, unless you have some kind of reaction which is super unlikely.

I've played with jumping spiders, they look aggressive but it's just because they're so alert and hyper.. They're actually quite friendly. Let them crawl on you, just don't grab it or it may think you're trying to hurt it and bite.

hay this is awesome but i have a question for those spider lovers out there. ok i came home and i heard my dog barking and looking up at the ceiling. i came over into the kitchen and there was a jumping spider about the size of a dime or smaller. it was hanging from the lights a few feet off the ground and my cat almost hit it. i took it outside and let it go. what im asking is what kind do you think it is? it was fully black minus a few orange triangle like shapes on its abdomen. anyone know?

@wolfpaw999 The spider you saw was a jumping spider, depending on where you live it was probably Phidippus audax or Phidippus regius. There are TONS of Phidippus jumpers though. They are adorable, check out my videos and maybe you'll see one that looks like yours :]
