  • lol "ok, thanks..."

great movie, love this speech, and clever use of typography.

  • where is this from?

  • @Skinnydips is from the movie Adaptation

  • Helvetica sucks. It's better than Arial, but that's like saying vomit is better than diarrhea.

  • This utilizes neither Arial nor Helvetica.

  • I loved the video, both the speech you chose and the visual art you created for it.

I just took the seminar in Chile a few days ago, and I think McKee is very well portrayed in Adaptation.

Nobody made him THAT angry, but he does have the same attitude and ideas that the character in general.

  • wow! Robert Mckee has this as one of his favourites. Goodonya!

  • The other mistake was the letter "a". You added an "a" in front of "crap". He says "then you don't know crap about life." Yours says "then you don't know a crap about life,"

Minor mistake, no big deal. Good section of the movie though. It sounds like something Robert Mckee (the real one) might actually say at one of his seminars. A minor exaggeration maybe, but it has his personality.

  • nice man

  • nice video, but you should know that there are GOOD things in life too.

  • Obviously there are good things.

The audio is from the movie Adaptatio by Spike Jonze. Screenplay by Charlie Kaufmann (being john malkovich). I suggest you to watch it. :)

  • Great scene! And the typography was great too. Oh yeah, conscious was misspelled but it's no biggy!

  • oh yes conscious! DAMN!

  • nice video...but you misspelled conscious

  • damn that was sick

  • probably yes

  • thats impressive!
