  • LOL Schrapnel and Sparks !! XD

  • @JETLI2012 hey man I do what I can to entertain :)))

  • they are cheap by the billionaire standard! =P

  • ur small tho.....why do you need that kind of weight yet?

  • @giorgios95 what can I say man.. I'm a mean machine :)

  • @DoubleDFitness lol hahaha

  • do you prefer these over the power blocks?

  • @shuby12 depends.. actually I'm planning on doing a bowflex vs powerbocks video real soon!! so stay tuned :)) for really heavy weights probably powerblocks.. but I'll explain fully in the video. If you're really anxious then just go to a store and compare the two.. both have advantages and disadvantages in size, speed of change of weights, etc. more to come in the video!!

  • @DoubleDFitness Can't wait bro :) btw best review on youtube !!

  • @mycoolm3 Thanks a lot man!

  • @mycoolm3 Thanks a lot man!

  • @shuby12 hey I posted my video on bowflex vs powerblocks! please look for it on my channel if you want (can't post with a direct link here )

  • thanks very much dude, that was really helpful!

  • @CupofPhenol absolutely my pleasure!! :)

  • Great review, man, absolutely great. Thanks!

  • @dajimejebote Thanks mate! Appreciate it! :)

  • "a bit too thick for me in the middle", thats what she said... ha ha jokes

  • I would need the larger model and honestly I am a little hesitant. It would really be a bad thing if the weight attachment mechanism broke and the weights fell on your head. I am sure these are well made and won't do that but I still don't feel that reassured since I have heard of the mechanism breaking.

  • @intangibledc no thought they would have arrive today hopefully tomorrow. Cost me €600 Inc delivery without a stand on eBay

  • good review i just ordered 90lbs set yesterday

  • @tomhalloween Good for you man! Happy lifting!

  • @tomhalloween did you get them yet? i'm considering it. The price isn't bad really, the only thing i'm concerned about is how large they would be at 90lbs, and durability, i tend to drop my dumbells at the end of a set.

  • @intangibledc

If you tend to drop your weights at the end of a set, you may have trouble with any/all of the adjustable dumbbell sets. These are not meant to be dropped - for example the SelectTechs have a hard plastic mechanism that holds the weight plates on, and with enough roughing will eventually wear out/break off.

Powerblocks are very durable though I've read that they have broken the mechanism from 3 foot drops. Try to get in the habit of carefully setting them down.

  • Do you recomend this product overall?

  • @MurfMedia It's not bad, I would go down to a store and compare it with it's biggest rival, the Powerblocks, I would choose one of the two

  • O think they chippest from all adj.dumb's, but they are really huge, that's a problem a bit..

  • great review. I get these in the mail next week. Thanks!

  • @SeoulMuzik Thanks! and good lifting :)

  • nice job guy, great review

  • @moodyh Thank you! :)

  • Haha, I like your shirt!

  • @pleal1 Hey thanks man! Made it myself :) was wondering if anyone would notice :)

  • @DoubleDFitness where did u get lol, nice tshirt

  • @involverrrrr cheers mate, made it myself, custom :)

  • when did you get these? I'm just curious because the date on the video is April 2010, but these aren't the latest model (the 2009 model). You can tell because (a) the grip looks different, (b) the top has a grey band and not a red band

  • @YouTube650 fair enough.. I got them in 2009

  • I thought these dumbbells were horrible. My brother was so excited when he got these and let me borrow them for a week. The length of these dumbbells are a big problem doing a lot of different kinds of exercises and the rattling is annoying. Its just not worth the money, the dumbbells just get in the way, the smaller static dumbbells are still the way to go if you're doing various kinds of workouts.

  • Excellent review. Most reviews of dumbbells are people breathing heavily into the camera and not really saying anything productive. I'm trying to decide between the Selecttech and the PowerBlock dumbbells.

  • @wcombs Hey thanks! Powerblocks definitely also have their advantages. I would go to a store and compare one next to the other to chose. Good lifting! Cheers

  • Not enough weight for my workout.

  • good review dood

  • @nameanking thanks man

  • YOu should check out insanity man thats more then enough cardio lol itll get u ripped

  • @Frankiej27 yeah I read about it a bit, I'll check it out in a bit more detail ..

    cheers

  • DO you use p90x+?

  • @Frankiej27 Hey there Frankiej27! No I don't use 90px. Lately my routine has been mostly boxing training (for mostly cardio and some strength training) and weight training. Cheers
