The E30 is much better build quality than new BMWs. I would put in the Signature Motoring performance intake kit for only around $150 and gain around 9.5HP on the stock output for the 325/M3 and a bit less for the 318. I highly recommend this item, see my youtube channel for the action video on it.
I have an E30 325i and the only performance item I have is the Signature Motoring performance CAI for about $150. The performance kit adds around 9HP on the dyno, sounds freaking great, and installs in under 30 minutes. Highly recommended.

Aside from the power gain, the SOUND is amazing at higher RPM but sounds normal in regular driving. I’m thinking about added high-flow exhaust next.

its used for dragging only.. and the hood
probably didnt even make it the next day cause
it was just a show of old car hoods on dragsters..
anyway.. they made it look like an E30 pretty

Yeah with a heavy stoneage v8 and rearaxle... (the camber doesn't seem to change so I guess its not a stock rear axle)
Of course its impressive but the car can't be used for much else than dragracing.
I'm building mine to handle some cornering too. But that's just my opinion of course.
