thanks for uploading a pretty gud video of the hewisi band from my former school.

One small amendment to the title tho... It's not a christian hewisi band. the band members are from all four ethnicities of the island and the music is a part of sri- lankas southern heritage.

And I think the reason he has called it a Christian Hewisi band is due to the tune being played there, which is a Gospel tune

I'm not sure which sort of Gospel u listen 2 nathan ol buddy..

But I can assure there is not a trace of gospel in the tune... Its pure thora hewisi magic

The boys @ St Thomas' who arranged these tunes would be very pleased with these comments, as they told me they were looking for a way to express their Christian faith in a way that honors their ethnic heritage.

Indeed, the tunes played are two Christian songs!

1st: "Majesty" by Jack Hay­ford;

2nd: "Jehovah Jirah," another classic Christian song.

But they're done in a way where they can praise God using the gifts that they have and that also affirms their Sri Lankan heritage
