i have a question in BAP mode can you make it to the allstar game and can you get traded and when you get drafted do you go straight to the nhl or go to the ahl first. also when your contract ends can you get offers from other teams??

@BouncingBallers321 You may have already found all this out but, you can make it to the all-star game, you can get traded, and when you're drafted you have 4 games in the NHL where the team decides to keep you in the nhl or send you back into the ahl. And yes when your contract ends you usually get a resigning offer with your former team as well as three other offers.

the offline mode is ok i guess.. gets kind of same same after a couple of games, the online mode though is unplayable.. i´d say about 1 in 10 games are somewhat playable, the rest you have your hands full just trying to control your player through out constant lagging..

-08 had a bad MPmode,-09 even worse, -10 unplayable..

sorry, i´ve been playing this gameseries since -98, but this was my last EA nhl game..

next year i´m trying out the competition..

yes of course they can make the game better, they added the swiss hockey league, the best european club team ( zsc lions ) who won the champions hockey league will be included in the game :) and they addes some new features like the new board play and the new fighting system which feels great in the demo. also the crowd is much better, with a good sound system on your tv it sounds almost like a real hockey game, the crowd sings and it's much more realistic i think

yup, i think the swiss league is a very good ice hockey league compared to other european leagues like the swedish or finnland league :) in the lockout season many nhl stars played for swiss teams, joe thornton for example. the things with the goals are a bit fucked up that's true. but that's just a small detail ;) and i think that nhl 10 will be the best nhl game, also better than nhl2k series. and the new be a pro mode with the drafts is pretty cool :D

Obviously nhl 10 is gonna be better than 2k10 cuz 2k9 was so terrible so its really impossible to make a game from bad to really good in 1 year. There hasn't been much mention, I think Be A Pro mode is largely the same, the biggest changes are the gameplay features shown in this video and dynasty mode (Which is being replaced/renamed Be A GM mode) which looks to be hugely improved.
