i had my 12 inch type r running off of 800wrms (give or take 50-75 thats still 700+) n my type r didnt even get warm.. ive even heard stories of people putting 1000wrms to 12 inch type r's, soo whats this about underpowering when i wired mines to 2ohms on a opti1400d rated 800wrms @2ohm.. n i was feeding it around 13v constant.. FI is good but why spend the extra money if your not going to competition with it?

Im looking to buy 2 type R's 12" and run them off the alpine MRP M1000 amp in a custom built 2.5 cuft box. You think this will pound? im not talking about loud bass i want blurred vision XD or my next choice is that jbl bandpass subwoofer. Doesnt look half bad sensitivy of 96db! and hits rougly 700 watts rms. Its called the JBL GTO-1204BP look it up! either this or the vibe iv been lookin at Vibe AC 12 TWIN Double 12" BandPass enclosure
