  • Marr and his Rickenbacker just made my day! Again.

  • I think The Moz loves his Smiths days and the songs. He was at top of his craft playing with words. Then you had Johnny Marr coming up with some of the best music scores in music histroy. It's all in the lyrics to Frankly Mr Shankly "were's my MONEY"(Queen is Dead).

  • meat head...lol, hes an arrogant twat, but he has a reaon to be arrogant, which makes it ok

  • Hate Morrisey love Marr

  • @PrimalStones then why are you listening to the smiths,,, if you like marr more than morrissey then listen to marr or the cribs or something, you should show respect without morrisseys vocals and lyrics marr wouldnt have gotten any respect

  • @16Denok Because i like Marr in The Smiths but Morrissey is possibly the bigegst cunt ever.

  • @PrimalStones why's mozza a cunt?

  • @16Denok Just everything about him, can't stand him and his meat head.

  • Remember hearing this on "this is england 88" hooked on this song now :')

  • @ryanshedy which part? i dont remember but i love it anyway :D

  • mangrove of the marshes is it right

  • Britain had THE best music scene from 60's till mid 90's. Where produced the best music and our music industry was booming with great bands and now look whats happened :( all they poser barbies and talentless hacks called "boy bands" have fucked the British music scene up, makes me disgusted that we will have no gems like this being produced anymore.

  • @Mcghi3 Muse is still pretty good. But I totally agree with the rest of your post.

  • @Avalaxy Yeah I know I have seen them live a good few times, they are a bit pop rock just now but there earlier stuff was amazing. There is still a few bands and artists that come along these days but its pretty rare and they dont seem to blow the scene up because people like ndubz with there manufactured sound and ability to brainwash the impressionable teens of today get all the lime light, fucking hate that. Should be real bands and artists with talent that get the spotlight.

  • is this the version used on this is england 88 ?

  • @jakestessa35 yeah it is ,think you know it is

  • that is bloody amazing.

  • Best opening riff to a song ever and morrisey is a lyrical genius.

  • just step back and appreciate how fucking cool they look in the first pic. just fucking cool.

  • It's the best sounding version but it fades out to early.

  • i had to stop watching this video because it had an ad before it started!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if you hate ads view the other video

  • why does it have an ad before it starts???????

  • THIS

  • So glad I was a teenager in the 1980's! Great music and we all had a sense of what was going on politically.

  • This is one song that he doesn't sing right.

  • God Morrisey's voice is gorgeous on this, especially when he sings "No more apologiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeees!" If you could take a song away for a dirty weekend at some beachside resort, this would be it. I am in love with this version!

  • if not the best smiths tune

  • @madjesti absoLUTEly!

  • @madjesti totally agree fantastic version

  • I really don't understand how Moz could hate this song... it's so badass.

  • @TheLeakySon True,Oh so True.

  • @TheLeakySon I don't get him, either

  • @TheLeakySon He doesn't hate the song, he hates the recording that appeared on the album. He thought it was too glossy and that it didn't age well. Everyone except Johnny liked the stripped down version that you hear here.

  • @TheLeakySon he doesn't like this song???!!!

  • @TheLeakySon i think musically he liked the attitude of it just wasn't totally happy with the lyrics he wrote for it

  • @TheLeakySon does he hate it?

  • MANCHESTERS FINEST, THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST VERSION OF THIS CLASSIC

  • Stephen Hendry looked a little like Mozza when he was younger.. In a funny way..

  • The first time I heard this version I wasn't too sure about it... but now I think it's really brilliant!

  • This version is awesome :D

  • @L0Z7AT Cheers, its a classic, and when i met Johnny at the airport(2:30) he was great,he spotted my Mozzer tattoo, and we had a good chat....Top bloke.

  • @dwy07 LUCKY BITCH!

  • The falsetto in this version is haunting...ly awesome!

  • I love when he says: "so, what difference does it make?

    it makes NONE"! :P

  • ...the devil will find work for idle hands to do.......

  • Man I don't know who was voted Best rock Guitar player that year but this Johnny Marr is the man.
