There seriously need to be some new rules for horror movies, like never trust the German doctor because he always turns out to be a Nazi sadist who likes to experiment on people, just kill the Nazi and run. Also, best friends always die, anybody notice this? Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, I know what you did Last Summer, SCREAM, Urban legend, best friends all get killed. Any time somebody makes reference to the rest of their life, they get killed too. Anybody else got some to add?

I'm 13 and love older movies from the 70's 80's and 90's like this one. Even as a teenager I hate remakes. There are only two slasher remakes left for hollywood to do. Child's play and Scream. If either of them get's remade,I'm going to cry myself to sleep.

Scream was cool the first time you watched it. But its more of a who-done-it/horror movie and once you know-- its not as fun to revist.

Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon pulled this off MUCH better. They went more comedic/horror but its insights were much more brilliant and entertaining. If you liked Scream (and I did the first time I watched it), youll love BTM.

Bad ass great movie, i love the scream sequels. all of them are great...... well written strory line. that brings something new up, alot of people dont like a new change. well thats what u have to get, to keep something more wild and entertaining... to keep living on strong, and in these movies, West really did do that, for me, great job man, keep up the good work. Scream was first and the original, and it was amazing. Scream 2 was just as good, maybe even better. Scream 3 was good, but it ended up using a lot of clichés that it mocked before. Scream 4 is almost as good as the first two. The characters aren't as memorable but it's definitely just as good.
