the phone scene is just......damn creepy. And the whole thing of being locked up inside an apartment and no possibility of communicating with the outside world is a very fascinating idea, and may represent a real condition: you're in your own messed up world and nobody can save you. Amazing game, I've played it and I'd do it over and over again.....

Of all the Silent Hills, this one was the creepiest (to me). Not because of the game play as much as what happens when you look out the window in his room.

Exactly! It would terrify me to no end to be locked inside a place, but have the ability to look out and see the rest of the world carrying on completely oblivious to the fact that you're going through a nightmare. Even the people across the way can't hear you.
