@HarveyPriceFTW isn't it possible that there are still conditions out there that are not common, unheard, and undiagnosed much like it was around 80 years ago with ADHA/ADD. When I first look at myself in the mirror I see an attractive 20 year old guy, but after a while the image distorts and it's almost like I can see the darker, predatory side of my mind. I start to feel terrified and the image is genuinely like looking at a surreal demon or something from a horror story or your worst nightmare. Soon psychologists will be telling us it's not normal for children to be hyper and have imaginary friends. When I was a kid I'd hit my brother for no reason too, and I'd play lego for hours talking to myself. Kids seem schizophrenic to begin with, how does a psychologist measure these changes in the brain, where's the proof? Exactly they can't. Frauds. Poor child. She wont be sane after her body is destroyed by the meds.

She sleeps but 2-3 hours per day, experiences dissociation, suddenly lost interest in social interaction and isolated herself from all her friends at one point in her life; all of these things are telltale signs of schizotypy, at least. I generally don't advocate medicating children, but her case seems pretty severe. The abuse definitely exacerbated it, too. It's not either/or here.

Drugs are seldom the solution for schizophrenics. I went through years of caring for a schizophrenic fiancé who is still on the loose. I had no support, he pimped me hard, he responded best to a very controlled environment, good food, cold water, clean living, structure. It runs in his family among the males. Is she in school. It must have been and still is such a strain for them all. The first thing that I notice is a rash around her eyes like a histamine response, this is somewhat typical. My experience is that there are multiple types of schizophrenia where some are rage monsters and others are just frightened by the instability of their reality. When I first look at myself in the mirror I see an attractive 20 year old guy, but after a while the image distorts and it's almost like I can see the darker, predatory side of my mind. Soon psychologists will be telling us it's not normal for children to be hyper and have imaginary friends. When I was a kid I'd hit my brother for no reason too, and I'd play lego for hours talking to myself. Her imaginary friends are not under her own control: they scare her, hurt her, and tell her to "do bad things." She sleeps but 2-3 hours per day, experiences dissociation, suddenly lost interest in social interaction and isolated herself from all her friends at one point in her life; all of these things are telltale signs of schizotypy, at least. I generally don't advocate medicating children, but her case seems pretty severe. The abuse definitely exacerbated it, too. It's not either/or here.

Don't you think moreover that her team of psychiatrists would have exhausted all the usual diagnosis and reasons for mental breakdown. its easy for experts to label ppl with mental illnesses....i have bi polar but even then i disagree totally with the term.....seriously alot of these symptoms cud be due to being hit as a child.....coz like i said my daughter does exhibit some scary behaviour at times.....she learned that when youre angry to express it in similar ways to how i did.....so look into the theory of how the hittng may have damaged her rather than being completely satisfied at accepting its shizoprenia.......seriusly

I had to psychic-ly shut it out for my own mental health as it was so pervasive and invasive that I consciously did what others do unconsciously, I shut it all out to 'function' in the "real" world. Read the archived blogs and you will see how he shook Jani at two months old and how both he and his wife have admitted hitting Jani. He writes about throwing objects and damaging the walls, in front of Jani as well as being so violent he could see the fear in her eyes. All of this can be verified by reading his archived entries.

@NASIMNASIM I sincerely hope you are not a parent, as there is NEVER an excuse to shake an infant or hit your young child - particularly a severely mentally ill one who cannot control her behavior. In my opinion, it is Jani who is suffering from her parents mental illness and not the other way around at all......

Theres a reason they don't diagnose kids with schizophrenia. This is clearly one of them. Asperger's syndrome is wrongly diagnosed in kids because of course the kids have imaginary friends. Every kid does. Every kid is gonna lie and pretend they don't know about stuff when they get in trouble. It's human nature. The real monster here is her father, abusing her and her mother since she was a little baby girl. Might even be brain damage.

In her fathers blog at janisjourney(dot)org Michael admits to shaking Jani as an infant, hitting her, starving her, being violent in front of her, that Jani reported being molested by him and that they also overdose her with benedryl to knock her out. Read the blog yourself and ask yourself WHY they mention NONE of this on any of the tv media!!!
