I have had 4 over the course of my childhood and adolescence and I can say that the one cat that we had that was not a Bengal was far more apt to scratch and bite me than any of my bengals ever were. And furthermore they are amazingly good pets my aunt and uncle just bought one and their grandaughter carries that kitten around like a purse with no 'slashes'. Perhaps it has to do with how it was brought up in your home, I never had a problems.

I got adopted by a bengal living under my deck, very sickly, I took him to a vet got all fixed up, I had a lot of cats but this guy wants to play 24 7, and he is very smart, if he wants something he cancommuncate it very well, also have bilanese blue point male whos ragdoll breed, 1 wants 2 play and 1 wants 2 lay around and squish(cuddle) all day, When 1s not chasing the other , they get along amazing, but not at first, that would have been quite the utube video

I have a bengal and 2 abyssinians that I paid for, but I also have 4 cats that I have adopted from shelters of saved off the streets. I have given my home to many in need in my past. Don't pass such quick judgement on people who have purebred cats or dogs!!!

No, I have one and live in Fl. My advice , if you are to get a Bengal, is to pay a bit more and go first class. By that I mean, I bought mine $200 from a family who wanted their kids see their female have babies. So, mama bengal hooked up with the male. There were 2 marbles and 2 spotted. I have a brown spotted who looks fine, but after seeing all the best qualities in these greats cats, I am going to bite the bullet and pay more. They start around $500-$1000.
