loving this idea! the 30 second drum lessons are awesome. Not that I dont like the longer in depth vids, but for some practices this is Ideal !! cool fill :D Thanks!
@DRUMSKAPE I like them just as much...a nice, quick drum snack! Not everything has to be in depth all of the time. Sometimes it's nice to hear a fresh sticking you can put right to use.
Crazy, i was working on this fill the other day moving it around on the toms, and then you put up a vid of it.. It sounds like the fill you do in your INTRO and OUTRO to these videos.. i had no idea the KILLERS guy did this..cool.
@Weallfart Lol, that's because I actually do a variation of this fill in the intro and outro music...good ear! Yea, he uses it ALL of the time...and for good reason. It kills! (no pun intended)
I really like your 30 sec lessons like this...good on ya. And this is personally my favorite one yet. I'm sure I'll use this sticking pattern, prolly with different voices, but it's right in my style of dynamics. Cheers man, thanks
@22cwheels22 I can't tell you how many times I've used this fill...he starts off one of their albums with it and when I heard it I though "That's one of the most perfect rock fills I've ever heard!". And yes, it's alot of fun to move around the kit. Glad you like them man...more to come!
I'm on a Killer's craze right now and love that I found this Vannucci fill. This video rules. I'm learning to do this the second I get home.
