  • soo sexy :o

  • so who's on rhythm guitar? That guy is not Duff. Totally different face, and I don't think that Duff was spending *that much* time at the gym.

  • @grahammj Holy Crap! Just did an image search and that IS Duff, or does he now go by Buff??? He looks like he's in his late 20s. Face is a lot more chisled than it used to be.

  • @grahammj It is in fact Duff McKegan from G n' R. Reading his book around this time he spent any and all free time training with a famous fighter. So by this time he was slimmed down(different face) AND he was spending *that much* time at the gym (2 times a day with bike riding in between.)

  • wotta bunch ov cool fuckers

  • Go Jonesy!!!

  • Saw them at Webster Hall, NYC.

Duff and Jones played guitar, Taylor bass and Matt Sorum on drums

  • amazing!!!

  • I LOVE STEVE JONES

  • That's John Taylor on bass, Matt Sorum in drums. But where is Duff McKagen?

  • @martinmarquesminen i think it's duff mckagan playing bass here actually, cause the bass player's blond (whereas john taylor has dark hair), has the same tattoos, and is singing backup. but with the image i can't really tell, and if it were john taylor on bass, duff wouldn't be there.

  • @emily1604 Duff isn't there, and the bass player isn't blond. It's Taylor, no doubt about that.

  • @emily1604 Duff is playing rhythm guitar, John Taylor is on bass.

  • that looks like john taylor of duran duran on the bass

  • @TheSonicmule its that guy

  • amazing how much jonesy has slapped it on since the 90's (weight I mean!) saw them in london..a lot better than that daft camp freddy thing...although the same principle..punk covers.

  • shirtlifters...

  • les paul should be proud!

jones is the best guitar player it s incredible that being so young played so well.

  • Master of power chords..steve jones

  • Steve Jones. The Punk Guitar with most fucking attitude ever seen. Sorry my english, if not, fuck off. Say no more.

  • paul cook wrote this about steve every one thought it was about sid .its first title was silly cunt .straight up it was

  • Just arsing great

  • cool/awesome

  • Jones was a smack head for many years, Matlock was a major drinker and used to wet himself, Cook ended up a crack/smack head in his 40's and Lydon is addicted to his own voice. Its in their first reform interview in Q music mag, 97 i think (apart from Matlock wetting himself, i got that from a friend who was close to him in the late 70's early 80's, i met him when he first came out of rehab).

  • Lydon is addicted to his own voice - ha ha ha! I like it :)) And McLaren is addicted to his big EGO obviously..

  • still made sweet music though eh?!

  • Oh yeah

  • I did not know that!!!! Lydon addicted to his own voice very funny!!! but true

  • This is about Sid.

  • why is it that everytime a former sex pistols member does something its about sid this is not about sid its just a song

  • Yea, well i read in a book about English punk rock that Steve jones said himself he penned this with Sid in mind.

  • in mind it i=dint say the hole thing is about sid

  • Whatever mate, tell someone who gives a fuck.

  • yeahh,,,,,,,temon!

  • Great song!

  • Notice John Taylor from Duran Duran playing too?

  • yeeeesssss!!!!

  • Heh heh.

    Duff has no shirt on...

Why does Steve maybe he should lose the shirt..

    Heh heh..

    and as for you. Disapearingboy1039.

NO STEVE IS STILL YOUNG SEXY AND HANDSOME..

    WHOW DID I SAY THAT?

    tAKE CARE.

  • they played a different version of the bridge

  • This is the same bridge that was used in the "Great Rock n Roll Swindle" version of "Silly Thing" which actually had Paul Cook singing lead, but different than the original single with Steve singing.

  • Jesus Steve never gets old. He still looks young even though he's like 40something here but now he's like 50something and he still looks young.

  • coz hes god

  • this song is the shit

  • good song!!!

  • I miss those nights at the Viper Room

  • this song was about sid...great steve jones!great duff!

  • Nah, I thought it was about Johnny Rotten--"Oh you silly thing!"

  • i red it in an interview to steve jones...

  • nah its not abvout sid or john paul cook wrote it about steve cuz he was on heroin at the time and steve asked him about the song and paul said it was about sid he only admitted it was about steve years later

  • ok now it's clear...anyway i was right saying that i red it on some interview...thanks to solving this mistery!

  • I always thought this was an old Swankers song and the verse was "Oh, you silly C**T!"

    and written about Wally Nightingale?

    You live and learn...

  • I think its a bit of both depending on the time and place.

  • El mejor,el numero 1 STEVE JONES!!!!!

  • steve jones a absolute legend

  • yea he has changed some part of the verse,

cool this new way to sing "oh u silly thing u really got it now"

  • "You really gone and done it now..."

  • Great band. I would love to see another album by these guys someday. Got anymore vid's from this show ?? The songs Duff and John sang our much better.

  • could any1 tell me what year this was filmed

  • I believe 95 or 96

  • steve jones is a legend!!

  • something of the fantasy haps?

  • I have Fantasy 7. I'll get round to posting soon....
