This way the computer-vision algorithms won't slow down your main pc - and you can then use the 3D input to control whatever intensive program or game you wish - regardless of how CPU intensive it is.

yeah, that'd make it much better for casual use.
im considering a setup like pc with webcam and ARtoolkit with s-video out -> capturing device into my current computer, lol!
