Everybody says that(made for me), I can't pick a favorite song, because I like them all. That means it's a good album, CD, etc. Pet Sounds is one of a handful that can't be overplayed.

This is one of the greatest albums ever. Brian is a genius, and it was recorded so long ago. It is painful to listen cos it brings back so many beautiful memories, but hey I'm not complaining, Sheer joy, summer nights, girls long forgotten, and being a teenager. This song, like all the songs on Pet Sounds, is so true. This reminds me of a girl I dated a few months back. We went in too quick and I got burned.

Now, "I'm Waiting For The Day" is the song that describes my life at the moment.

I swear, Pet Sounds seems like it was made just for me.

I thought I was the only one who thought of Pet Sounds like that...it's true, Brian Wilson did make his music, especially this album, to inform us of the hardships of life

@mikethegamer That's what Brian intended to do, and you're totally proof of that. Brian wanted to make a spiritual album for people, using realistic details of not only his own life but of all people no matter what their background. He wanted the listener to be able to listen to the record and feel as if each song was written for them. And you've proved he suceeded. :)

the castle is edinburgh castle and they played glasgow odeon renfield street glasgow when they visited scotland the cannon is called mons meg

This footage is from the unreleased 1968 European tour documentary. Which I have. ;-) This song never actually had a video. The closest s the Pet Sounds promotional film that was released in the "fuzzy" box set last year. I have that too.

The footage is from '68.

The conversation you hear at the end was originally heard during the break (what a fantastic break !) of the song.

You cant here brian saying alright in the organ solo like on the record I think the conversation at the end is differant.
