Macro Bugs (Canon 60D, Movie Crop mode with 100mm f/2.8 IS)

so what impact does using the crop setting have on overall resolution? is it still considered 'high definition?' I notice that 480 is the highest setting for your clip... is that the limitation of crop mode?

any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to choose a camera, but not sure which will be best - video is very important to me, and I'd love to have a good zoom (crop) factor.

@anurse1971 The maximum resolution for the zoom/crop setting is 640x480, standard definition. The crop mode is fun and has utilitarian uses, but I probably wouldn't use it for a serious project.

do u have to adj sight every time for close and far distance?

@omergic Yes. Focusing is very difficult because the depth of field is so shallow.
